Change "The painters involved" to "The makers involved". There was a couple more but am on my phone so can't copy'n'paste them.
Well spotted... You have a good eye! I only found one to fix, but whoever makes the actual thread can triple check it as well.
I'm definately interested , although having spent 2 years building boards for demo games you'd think i'd learn't my lesson, but nonetheless have one big last project left to do
I do have suggestions ; 1 category for those making whole boards (but then don't know if enough people would be intrested) with monthly updates
2nd category for those who have odds and ends for generic tables, with before photos/wip and then completed photos
3rd category just to drum a bit more intrest, those who enjoy dioramas (dragging some painters into the fray)
either way i'm in

I do like the categories nagged proposed... Makes sense and might draw more people in.1 category for those making whole boards (but then don't know if enough people would be intrested) with monthly updates

Anyway, this thread already gave me some more ideas to work on as soon as the project starts.
Check out my Mordheim scenery! NOW! I mean... Please... Only if you want to of course...![]()

My bases are for sale/trade! Interested? Hit me with a PM
I'll put my name down tentatively... things are going to get very busy for me this year, but hopefully I'll have time to update my terrain (I'm trying to make things that fit with the the new Warhammer rules, and are more appropriate to the [imo awful] TLoS rules for 40k/ Warhammer)
Orcs and Goblins, Wood Elves, Necrons, Tyranids

Everyone else's win totals are completely accurate.
I am interested in being a part; how will we stay informed on this?
When people sign up should they declare a theme ie fantasy or necron tomb word? Kind of like how people declare which army they will paint?
-I will sign up for this when the sign up thread appears.
That shouldn't be necessary, as there will be a new thread started every month for that month's entrants on the Warseer Painting Support Group forum http://www.warseer.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=142.
We should start the Sign up Thread soon. So, taking Nags suggested categories, and the modifications to the other tale sign-up pages, I can start the official thread tonight. Then I'll compile a spreadsheet with all the entrants and their progress when the tale starts.

Not sure if i'll sign up since deadlines don't realy motovate me,
But I will certianly help out a lot as far as building and painting techniques.
How are categories going to help, though? Should you really force people into doing it a specific way? It's not like there are points costs involved, so if people decide beforehand that they want to paint X amount per month, per 2 months or even for the entire duration of the Tale, it could make participation a little easier...
Just my thoughts though, not that I mind categories.

Storm of Magic games played : 2
Categories make it easier to keep track of is all. They are pretty broad and I don't think anyone is going to bark at you for not sicky rigidly to one. Plus, the point of the whole thing is to have a goal in sight so you are motivated to do that thing you want to do. Oh, and to share cool pictures.

Has anybody asked Harry about using his intro? I doubt that he has anything against it but just to play it nice.
Also thanks for SamVimes for taking the responsibility about starting the thread. My kid is keeping me awake like 23h a day so I reeeeaaally don't have enough energy to think/write anything in English...
Guess I will be doing odds and ends, I need new terrain. I agree with doc_cthulhu about asking Harry and starting the thread right after. Here is me hoping he even joins and builds something like that elven city again.
You mean "finishes something like that elven city"?![]()
You are right, just read it in the pie's thread, he actually plans to get it done this easter. Which would fit into the planned schedule for the tale of terrain builders.
I've PM'ed Harry. As soon as we get the ok to steal his format, I'll post up the Sign-up Page

Would it be alright if I join? I have terrain making studio, but am really one man army at the moment.
