Wonderful!
I haven't notice you built so many vehicles. The whole army rocks!
Thanks Mediko,
So after almost a year I finally finished my apartment (only a few more things to take care of) and finally having internet meant it was time to dig up the grots again.
to be honest I had to be given a push..Balephon and Thalenchar (two friends of my) were discussing a 1000 pt paint challenge, 6 weeks to paint a thousand points...
I would only accept I Thalenchar would update his blog weekly with our painting progress, unfortunately for me he accepted that challenge...meaning I would have to start painting
My camera is still hiding in a box somewhere, and my photo studio is MIA as well.
So for now I can only provide you a pic taken with my mobile.
I slapped on some German grey and Heavy blue to see if I liked the combo and I must say I'm happy with the scheme,
sorry for the crappy pic but that's the best my mobile can do.
Hopefully more pics next week, now i'm off to find the studio and camera, and start painting some copper.
Thanks for looking,
Cheers

Great log, very inspirational. I like the meltas that you came up with.
Thanks student!!
So today's officially the first day of our Farewell 5th edition painting challenge.
I took one of the Vet Sergeants and tried some battle damage, the pics don't justify the effect, but looking at the pics I could tell I need to sharpen the edges a bit.
though for someone who does not enjoy painting and rather avoid it at all times, I can't complain with the table top quality thus far (from at least 30cm distance that is)
I found my Camera, still no clue where my portable photo studio is, anyways on to the pics
Funny how that damage looks awesome from 30cm distance but with a close up looks like.....sjeit...
Thanks for looking,
Cheers,

So week 3 of the Farewell 5th edition and i'm behind!!! (not really a surprise to those who know me)
Diablo 3 saw it's release and well I guess most of you can guess what happened......
the last few days however I have been painting.
I've been weathering a chimera, (from a short distance this looks fantasic IMHO, close ups don't justify the overall look)
on to the pics

On the right I have painted the rivets boltgun on the left I haven't, not convinced yet.. Any suggestions?
I'm still going to work with pigments (dust and mud) still have to do the tracks and armour plates and various other bits.
C&C appreciated

Hey Bra'tac, great looking grotz, really lovin it. For your problem may I suggest some kind of rust around the rivets and keep the rivet head blue? Of course not to over do the rust![]()
those pics are really nice. Do you think they'll ever have better rules for rebel grots or will we always use IG rules?
