I like the Hell pit abomination on his side, and the giant on your side is amazing. Great centerpieces for great armies.

Looks like a great battle. Next one has to be mine, last battle was a nasty rout on my side.

Can I ask what sheets you use for magnetizing your troops Bozza? Ive seen some magnets for going under the model bases but I wondered what you do next, do you use the sheet as the base of the movement tray with the GW edge and corner bits added to it or build the tray as normal with the sheet stuck on the bottom?

    Thanks for the feedback!

Having a few games while building this army has certainly created a welcome boost to keep me going. I even managed to win some. Above winning, the army is proving to be fun to play!

The magnetic sheets I use are self adhesive. I use two layers, one in my movement tray, the regular 'old' plastic version, sometimes modified to accomodate more models, and a piece underneath each base. When properly set up, these two magnetic sheets combined enhance their 'pull' considerably...

During the last couple of days (and weeks) I aquired some new models...

Two mortars and a Cannon (courtesy of marktplaats) and a few other models... The painted models will suffer a thinner related accident in the near future. Currently I'm looking for some Reiksguard on Foot models to build a unit of Swordsmen.

Thanks for watching! As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think, and, if you're feeling adventurous, feel free to rate my thread...

Congrats on getting those old models, the Mortars look especially nice.

I've got a member of the Foot Reiksguard going spare if you'd like him? He's had sand glued to the base but other than that he's untouched beyond being glued to his base.

That would be awesome... Maybe we could organise a trade.

Thanks for the Ebay tip, I'll check them out, though I don't know if of how internatinal payment will work...

This weekend we have another battle coming up. Using the same scenario Malcador will have to defend his objective (using 3000 points of Skaven) from both my Empire and FBI's Dwarfs (both 2000 points). We'll show him that Skaven aren't the only ones with dirty tricks up their sleeve...

Superb giant Boreas and nice to see pictures of that battle as well! 3000pts that's a sweet army size. Some excellent new acquisitions too I see, can't wait to see them painted up. Might you consider doing a Battle report with the next battle? Would be nice in combination with the pics, and you guys seem to have fun, so..

    Scared? Never! Cautios? Always

The three-way battle has been postponed until tomorrow. I'll pull out every dirty trick 3000 points of Skaven will allow to show you human-vermin who is boss.

    Thanks for the feedback!

I'm working on something top-secret... It's outrageous, absolutely bonkers, and, if I somehow manage it, probably very awesome! And I'm not going to tell you about it until it's done

But the person who guesses what it is will get a PM with preview/wip pics

So, let me hear your best guess!

Re: 'Crazily Religious' and 'Technologically Advanced'; An army of the Empire (Stirla

I'm going either with a "mechdragon", or else a model of fozriks folding fortress....as it unfolds. I was gonna go with the usual "boat" guess, but that's a little too simple for our Boreas I think.

By outrageous, I'm thinking "many guns", by bonkers I'm thinking "many many guns", and by "awesome" I'm thinking....anything from this thread (with many many many guns)

Re: 'Crazily Religious' and 'Technologically Advanced'; An army of the Empire (Stirla

Hehehehe... No, it's not going to be a mechanical Dragon, but I must admit that idea already crossed my mind a few times...

It's not going to be a Thaumodivinator either, but that would be cool! Maybe if I was to include an Arch Lector...

And I'm a bit affraid that I must disappoint someone (that's you, sssk) but this little project will have no guns at all...

Keep guessing, one of you is bound to get it sooner or later...
