Can i use the avatars of war orc warboss as a fantasy orc warboss as the base looks the same. And also does anyone know if they ship to the uk and if there is any problems with the mini's ?

This should be in the Avatars of War section?
But to answer your questions: yes you can use him in fantasy. They ship worldwide I believe, and I have never heard a valid complaint about anything they make (save a few models are a bit big compared to their 40k counterparts, which you don't have to worry about with orks)
You can use the model as a warhammer warboss, the blend it very nicely. Nobody will complain, but if you attend official GW tournies they won't allow it but apart from that you are free to use it.

Brilliant i'm sorry for posting in the wrong forum.I will be playing mainly for fun so no tornies for me but he does look sweet![]()
The main problem with the Avatars of War miniatures is that they don't rank up in your regular Warhammer units very well. The Orc Warboss is a prime example of this.
TOP TIP: Put him on a chariot![]()
Oh nice idea mate must try that one
Haha yeah i would love that i just prefer the look of the guy he looks huge so would be the warboss imo
Do so , i have to slayers and the thunderlord, and they worth it.
now im painting the demon lord and you can do great thing with felix miniatures.
I use one as a warboss AND I've used it in several GW tournaments.
He is a bit of a pain to rank up, but he fits in very well, so unless they are looking very closely they won't notice.
(I bring a spare warboss model just in case)

There's a mounted warrior priest in the display case at my local GW who's using the AoW head and Hammer. Almost all the staff are 40k guys, I don't think a single one of them has noticed...

As a matter of fact, they once showcased a War Altar with the AoW Warrior Priest - the complete model! - on GWs Whats New Today blog... So you should be fine.
