Just a little thread to post updates on what we're working on...
I just thought an easy way to keep track of what everyone is up to would be to start up a thread here, its easy to post pictures and just generally chat about hobby stuff.
So here goes...
Firstly in preparation for the Frozen Death scenario (battle report will be forthcoming) I decided I wanted to have a go at converting my own Balthazar Gelt model (Empire Metal Wizard Lord - and Supreme Patriarch of the Colleges of Magic).
I used the pegasus knight pegasus, and for Balthazar I used a High Elf mounted mage legs, the IOB mage staff, cloak, and torso and the empire metal wizard head.
I want him to be white and gold but I'm not sure whether to go a clean cold white (worked up from grey) or a warmer gold (worked up from a brownish colour). But I painted the gold anyway.
Any ideas on what to colour to paint the pegasus???
I've also got some corsair based Dark Elves on the go.
Oh and from the Mordheim games we had a little while ago.
Here's photos of Jack's black skaven with a hochland long rifle, you can vaguely make out his targets in each picture.
First a slayer. then a witch hunter, and finally a thing in the woods
also a look at the tables
The pictures are really small. Larger images might inspire more precise comments but from what I can see they all look great. As for the pegasus I'm a sucker for older minies so how about:

The previous Chieftain of my Marauder tribe.
The Chaos Gods got a bit fed up with him after he charged a unit of dark elf crossbowmen, failed to kill any, fled and was caught
So, I started a Dwarf army a while ago, and got into a building frenzy.
The basic idea stemmed from the end of Daemon Slayer (third book in the Gotrek and Felix stories). Where a dwarf hold long considered lost was found in the North. The hold had been completely overrun with chaos of all kinds and the remainder of the Dwarfs still live in hiding, fighting a constant war of survival against innumerable hordes. Many warriors had taken the slayer vow for letting their hold fall while the remainder of the warriors are the tough longbeards and the rangers who fight a guerrilla war to find supplies
I just finished putting together 28 longbeards, 40 slayers (plastic ones from Avatars of War) and 15 Rangers
In 2000 pts I've got
28 Longbeards with Hand Weapon and Shield and Full command
16 Quarrellers
15 Rangers with Great Weapons and Champion
20 Slayers
20 Slayers
1 Bolt Thrower (From Black Tree Miniatures)
1 Grudge Thrower (in the post)
and a mix of:
Lord on Shield Bearers
Thane with battle Standard
Runesmith
Runesmith
Daemon Slayer
Dragon Slayer
and the Characters
The colour scheme is going to be a rich purple with the nobles and possibly lonbeards with white added to it for edging and details.
The metal is boltgun washed with black
And some arcane fulcrums (made using one box of fulcrums and a bag of craters)
A strange lack of commenting, but now it has dwarfs and terrain so here we go:
Nice painting (on all of them, although the first pictures were quite small) and some great (terrain) conversions.
Rated and subscribed!
I really like what you did with the fulcrums. Great imagination.
Here's a Pegasus Knight I found in my bitz box. I'm tempted to make an Errentry list, and I've written up a few test lists.
This is more of a paint scheme test. I'm thinking of a crusading army, all with Black and White (though on the knights the white will be the dominant colour)
And some other test paints I've done (though not recently)
I wanted to theme my chaos more around a marauder tribe then warriors clad in solid suits of armour.
Hence, for my marauders I used Flagellant bodies, while for my warriors I used Marauder bodies and some armour. Knights I saw as the elite of the tribe and were heavily armoured (I used the old metal - fur clad - knights on new plastic horses)
Here's a few more pictures.
Firstly some of my High Elves.
Aenur - who I use as a noble/prince with shadow armour.
My alternative Battle standard - who hails from Chrace
and some White Lions for Storm of Magic games

I like the idea of the errentry list, I think I saw one being sold on ebay with a similar colour scheme, very cool idea, on a side note I don't think I have seen you use the white lions or the battle standard, may have to have a game with them soon.
I haven't used my elves for ages - and find it hard to fit a BSB in anyway. I need more white lions (the ones with axes) though
Here's a test of a Dark Rider to go with my Corsair themed dark elves - just need to greenstuff up the hole in the cloak
These were painted a while ago, but I never got round to putting them up
First Dreadfleet ship painted is the Heldenhammer, flagship of Jaego Roth
