The Razorback and Devastators look good.
The painted Assault squad looks really nice. The poses all complement each other and the weathered armour looks so natural and real.
It's shaping up to be a lovely army.

These guys look great! The metal has an excellent weathered look and the red is just bold enough to bring some interest to the minis. Also, good work being brave enough to stick with black/clear eye lenses. They look superb. Keep it up.

Real nice stuff mate, harsh to only be rated 4* i voted it a 5!
Silver models are under rated i feel as they seem quite easy to do but you have made these guys look very nice indeed and put the work in.

seriosly, since i saw this army i can´t stop reading the IA 9 Article about the Fire Angels^^. Start thinking about creating a smal force. Your work is truly inspiring.
A funny fact i realy like is the way you cut off the stuff around the barrel of the boltgun`s. I do the same thing for years and i thing boltguns look so much better this way, and your astartes are an great example for that!
Thanks again man ! Regarding yourself creating a small force, I would say go for it!One, of the many cool things about Astartes is that they cost a lot of points, so you could do a 750 or 500 army pretty quickly.
Ragarding the bolters, I think they look much better without the other stuff around the barrel too. In a sense more brutal
Best regards

Thats true kublai, it definitly give the boltgun a more massive look and puts the focus on the quit massive barrel.
What´s next for the 5th company?
Well, I started to work on the command squad and their razorback. When I have finished them, I will be at 1500 points. I would like to bring the army to 2000 points though. I would like to stay on my fluffly course, so I thought about two Predators. Maybe one or two Landspeeders, so the 8th assault squad can show up as well
But Im not so sure about this plan anymore because of the new allies rules in 6th. I think it would be quite cool and fluffy to include an Inquisitor, some Guards man, or Sisters of Battle. On the other hand, the thing with that is that it would not fit with the Badab War theme that much. Another chapter who has fought in the Badab War would probably be better suited as ally. I have read the IA article to look for a chapter that has fought along the Fire Angels, and the only one I found beeing mentioned were the Sons of Medusa. Thy would make a nice contrast in their green armour to my FA
As you can see I thought a bit about this ( I know Im crazy). Most likely I will stick with FAs though.

I like it that you keep it fluffy and company wise.
They fought not only alongsite the sons of medusa. At the Battle of Sagan the fought at least at the site of the red scorpions, during the tranquility campain the fought alongsite the carchardons. So plenty of options there=)

That razorback looks battered...nice job! Doesn't say much about the Fire Angels' maintenance abilities though![]()
