    Gitstomp's Ladz

Hi I have been collecting orks for about 7 or 8 years now and I have quite a sizeable force, around 7,000 points I think, though I have lost count many times! I currently have about 180 boys in my army which is great fun to play with!

Gitstomp Grimgoff Tuffskragga is my warlord and the army is made up of mainly goffs with bad moonz and deff skulls as well for some variety with colour!

I promised to my brother to paint up 10 models or 1 tank a week, which would be a miracle for me due to me getting bored of painting! watch my chaos thread as well as I won't always be painting orks. On with the army pics:

Here is my warlord himself, though I am planning to change the model soonish:

And finally for now my stompa, Krumpin Kronos

Hope you enjoy the pics, if you want any close-ups I am more than happy to do so and as always, C&C welcome

    Re: Gitstomp's Ladz

Here is the tank I painted this week; a trukk. I have 3 of these and they make up a crusher speahead when we play it, hense the large rams!

here is a close up of the gunner and driver, i converted this one to have a rokkit launcha instead of a big shoota.

As always, C&C welcome, what do you think of the rust effect I tried to do using watered down blazing orange paint? Anyone have any better ideas?

here are some pictures of one of my favourite ork unit; burnaz! I love how their burnaz count as power weapons in assault plus having 7 flamethrower templates I bought the burna/loota boxed set today and i am planning on making 5 more looatz (with mek) and 4 more burnaz, raising my total to 11.

The mek is converted from the old mekboy with a rokkit launcha.

    Two more boyz,

Close up of their tanks; I am really happy how the rust effect came out, what do you think?

This burna got that tattoo for surviving shooting from a squad of guard to then proceed to burn them all in my turn, true heroics!!

    C&C welcome as ever

Here is a picture of my Big Mek with shokk attack gun, I have another on eof these waiting to be made. I am building a shokk attack gun battery and I was wondering what people thought would look good as the snotling bases from the datasheet on the GW website? Any ideas?

This big mek leads the deff skullz part of my army:

C&C welcome, please comment, I would love to know what you think

+1, the trukks look really good! And the size of the army is very impressive. I love the tattoo you gave the super-burna, really good idea! The shot of their tanks is too dark to see though. Shoot a better one, I'd like to see the rust you mentioned.

    @ Alith_Anar
of course you can, here you go
I am still learning how to use my camera.

Here are some pics of my looted wagon which I made a long time ago, what do you think? It was my first attempt at rusting my tanks so I'm going to touch it up soon.

I am building up more lootas so I should post pics of them as well as 10 more boys I am painting by the end of the week.

The rusting on the looted wagon needs a bit of touching up to look as good as the rusting on your other models.

Apart from that it's looking pretty awesome. Loving the ork driver poking his head out the front Oh and that is one giant cannon :P

a most proppa horde of boyz you have there good sir, the rust effect looks good. I do think that the skin of your models, and much of that stompa, would benifit greatly from washes, thakra green for the ladz and badab black for the stompa
other than that, keep up the good work ^^

    Re: Gitstomp's Ladz

Not much painting of orks recelntly; I have been very busy. However this week I am currently painting more boyz and my deff skullz warboss.

I have been distracted painting this piece of scenery, it is one of my brother's chimeras wrecked

I am also converting a mekboy junka armed with a big zappa, a big shoota and a rokkit launcha. Its not finished but what do you think?

I have a deff rolla coming soon to add to it but do yo think it need anything else?

Some good stuff! I really like your looted wagon and i'm planning on making one for my army.

What parts did you use on that Leman Russ? The cannon is rather awesome.

The cannon is the chimney from the manafactorum set, the left big shoota is from the warbuggy set and so is the extra engine on the back. It has tusks from the slann mage priest set and also the chaos spawn set and just a couple of boyz from my bit box

    Re: Gitstomp's Ladz

I was bored yesterday and saw a box of old ww2 tanks in the wrong scale to make looted wagons but perfect for this:

Grot Tanks I love the idea of them but my wallet won't stretch to the forge world models so I thought i'd try to convert my own. They aren't finished but what do you think?

I have also finished my junka thanks to the deff rolla arriving from Games Workshop yesterday

Finally here is a PIP of my 5th Warboss, this one is will be painted in deff skullz colours but he is in the early stages of painting.

I will hopefully post piccys of my next 10 boys I painted this week so watch this space C&C welcome as ever

    Re: Gitstomp's Ladz

I have finished 10 more boys painted in my usual way. I paint for tabletop quality for most of my troops, painting 180 boys to a high standard would kill me

They aren't based yet, i should have that done by mid-next week

And my favourite boy from them - sneaky-knife guy:

I'm sorry for the bad photo-quality, i'm working on it!

    Re: Gitstomp's Ladz

Nice idea for the grot tanks I reckon they'd look even better with a few bits of plasticard to represent ramshackle repairs though.

Awesome junka. Loving the conversion job and that deff rolla just makes the model!

I'm loving the Nob with the Buzz Saw arm. The whole pose just looks immense

    Keep up the good work!

Some nice tanks there... Actually you stole a bit from my looted pred but I think you haven't seen that... Check out my log's first few pages to see it if you're interested!

Oh and the tracks of the looted leman need a wash!

ha wow my bad I hadn't seen your thread before but there are some awesome orks there, love the beards you sculpted for the nobs!

I know, I'm going to re-paint the looted wagon soon as I painted it a while ago and my painting skills have progressed somewhat since then
