    AoW Dwarf Nobel

Felix has sent me the following:

'Avatars of War is about Dwarves during those times, so following the trend and preceding our first Dwarf plastic set, here is a new dwarven hero, a Dwarf Noble.

The mini has been sculpted by Felix Paniagua'

I had a thread about this yesterday on this forum and it suddenly disapeared
Looks a bit serious, as someone pointed out on the one i made, the helmet is very similar to the chaos dwarf one

This is a very nice model. I might get 2 actually, one to make into a BSB (although I have 2 already...).

It still is a very good sculpt, great style! Very Dwarfy so to say, he actually looks like he begrudges the world. And I like the elaborate helmet a lot as well.

So I guess no.35 are the plastic slayers then. Still eagerly awaiting them, and a few dwarf lords can always be added to an order. I only have their Goblins so far.

He doesn't look like the kind of guy to establish a Peace Prize, though I could see him inventing dynamite.

    Very witty.

Beautiful model, when I've won the lottery I'm going to have an army made up from 80's GW dwarfs and AoW sculpts.

    Re: AoW Dwarf Nobel

I was rather thinking on the line of saving up and after the goblins are dealt with I will submerge myself in a new game called death match V2, when it comes out, with some nice new AoW dwarfs (even the chaos one).
No need for a lotery, just an opponent.

    Re: AoW Dwarf Nobel

As good as the AoW sculpts generally are, this one doesn't appeal to me at all. I'm rather tired of seeing Dwarfs and Orcs/Goblins from them anyway, and this one doesn't really stand out for me at all.

I like this model a lot Only issue I have is that I already have too many character models...

Would love to see a set done like the berzerkers except they were just dwarfs with great weapons. Or heavily armored dwarfs...

    yea another dwarf...
Is that cupcake a hooker ?

I don’t want to be human. I want to see gamma rays, I want to hear X-rays, and I want to smell dark matter. but I know I want to reach out with something other than these prehensile paws, and feel the solar wind of a supernova flowing over me. I’m a machine, and I can know much more

Yeah I hope felix gets around to a plastic set of Hammerers, The GW one's are awful, the mantic ones don't fit at all next to GW models, and the gamezone one's are pretty pricey and unfortunately packaged weirdly so if you end up wanting thirty of them you wind up with 3 musicians and no standard bearers...

    Can we stay on-topic please?

We are discussing the new Dwarf Nobel and nothing else. If you wish to start a thread wishlisting what you would like to see AoW/Felix produce in the future, please start a new thread.

If Warseer had the "like button" for cool comments this post Odin would be a top contender for post of the month. Funniest joke on someone's spelling mistake I seen in a long time.
Considering the Noble I already got tempted and Johanna was kind enough to confirm shipment. Really gruesome. Will make a cool oathstone Lord. All I need is a 20x20mm oathstone now.

    Re: AoW Dwarf Nobel

Just received mine today! Excellent sculpt! I've been slightly frustrated in the past with how some of the faces of AoW minis came out in metal vs. what the green looked like, but this one looks even better in person. He's big too! noticeably larger than a GW dwarf, but not so big he wouldn't fit in. He's going to be a great Rune-Lord for me!

posting in a thread that been dead for a long time is not the best thing to do.
