I call these boys my line breakers.
Finished these guys at the moment and returning to my 3rd high elf army i started several years ago so will probably post my progress on here.
Brilliant looking models! A refreshing change in the skin tone
Couple more, tad blurry but photography aint my strong point!

3 HYDRAS!!!
seriously though, nice looking army there, imagine it's quite daunting on the tabletop.
Thought they would get a reaction!
Have only ever used them in a one off three game tourney (eveyone was packing hard lists)
Thought i might as well paint them up anyway!
Good looking army, I really like the extra-dark blades across the army.
Will you be adding any more?
Yeah, i tried to keep the whole army really dark from the start as i think its a nice contrast with the skin tone.
Was thinking of adding some witch elves actually, not sure how good a choice they would be but i like how the cauldron hags turned out and i think a whole unit would look awesome!
Away to go back to my high elves as well though so may have to squeeze them in there somewhere!
That skin tone is very striking against the dark colour scheme. Great stuff!
That's an impressive army, and well painted! I really like the contrast of the pale blue skintone and the warmer purple of the robes. Nice! The bases also look very good. I like the small details like the sword at the Hydra's feet.

I really like what you have done here, the flesh colour works well, I like the Hydras they are so well done, cold one 's have an excellent contrast too.
hell I like it all
dodge
they are smart, i love the skin tone, just so very different
you should really get these photos onto druchii.net they will love them on there
Thanks for the positive feedback folks!
Going to be posting my other armies up in the next few days so stay tuned!
This is great! Really nice work.
You are quite the cheese nugget for having three hydras, however![]()
This is weird, that is how i would want to make their skin too and go really dark on everything else. Before i sold my Dark Elfs i painted them the same colors almost. Did not finish though..
You got a really great looking army there and those three hydras further makes me prone to bring the fire banner :P

How did u paint the purple it's exactly what I'm looking for my WoC.
Lovely looking army, you have stuck to a good colour theme and it really works across the board.
very pretty. the red-orange is a good contrast to the your blue and purple. personally i wish there was a bit more of it spread around the army as the cauldron and horses' eyes pop (in an artsy way). but this is purely aesthetic reasons and as a shady dark elf general it maybe better on the table top if your killer stuff didn't pop... maybe some bright orange harpies for the distraction (i'm only half serious on this; if you desaturated the red-orange and had brown harpies it would be less ridiculous).
good stuff, i agree w/ all the comments about the dark purple vs. the light blue skin.
