Sadly, $1850 worth of assault marines doesn't buy you nearly as many melta bombs as it used to. Nice collections, very impressive dedication to the 3+

Unfortunately Raeho was conscripted into our local "IG regiment" in December 2011 and has not been able to paint much stuff since.

Fingers cross on his posting after basic military training which ended Easter Sunday. Depending on where he ends up, it may mean back to a more regular painting schedule, or an even longer hiatus.

And I thought I had miniatures everywhere. Our working spaces are in many ways alike Though I only have three 40K armies and 1 fantasy army. I have alot of unnecessary things though.

Loving all the marines. But mostly the Exorcists!

Hey guys! Sorry for my sudden disappearance, as easternheretic said, I got caught up in the army and 40k was put out of my mind for awhile. While I have not had time to actually paint my models, I have been busy anyway.

Some things I have been doing include
-Moving house
-Transporting all my freaking models
-Assembling as much as possible, every single model I have left
-Doodling special characters in my spare time in the army (more on that later)

I do have some pictures of models that you guys have not seen yet though. I haven't done any Raven Guard yet because I'm still waiting for some transfers for their jump packs, though those should arrive soon and I can get back into them.

So anyway, without further. WIP Legion of the Damned techmarine, I am changing his hammer color, it's horrible I know, it's just a placeholder paintjob.

Almost all of the drilling out and chopping up of models is done by easternheretic, I simply put them together. Truly without him I am nothing.

I know my log has been stagnating for a loooong time, and I apologize for that. Army really kills time. If anyone's interested, I'm a sniper sergeant cadet now, I told my instructors that "camouflage is the livery of curs", but he wouldn't listen to me. He doesn't even let us take defensive grenades so if we get assaulted we are screwed. I do have a nice camo cloak though.

@Breazer: I think I have a couple finecast ones, but these are both metal.. It's ultramarines blue highlighted with enchanted and ice. They're supposed to be a trio so the last one would have to be resin

@Dudde: The one on the left has grey knight arms, the one on the right is just a gk termie stormbolter stuck on after some cutting here and there.

on the first few pages there are a few marines with thunder hammers, what set did these come in, Im wanting to equip some of my marines with them..
