They are great models, as with all Perry minis. I really need to get back to this project, it has been sidelined by my Fallout project for some time
Nice PLOG.
Thanks for the shots of the Zouaves.

Nice job.
May i ask where is the green sharpshoter in page 1 from?
He is one of the Berdan's Sharpshooter models produced by Redoubt Enterprises. They do some great ACW stuff
Was that sarcastic? 15 for 14?

£15 for 14 seems good value to me.

Lots of great stuff here.
Sorry to read about your nightmare with the varnish.
Have you tried using your trusted varnish first and then the matt on top as a second coat. You get the best of both worlds with the toughness of a gloss varnish and the more pleasing finish of the matt.
I don't know what I would do without washing and dry brushing. Any technique that helps you get stuff painted at speed is all good.

I haven't tried that but since the early days of this plog I've changed how I paint and now largely use gray-scale washes. I haven't even opened a tin of quickshade in about 18 months, as all the shading is already done
However when I have to go back to finish my basecoated models from back at the start of this plog I'll give it a go.
Love those perry plastics, well done!
