As I'm currently making true scale Alpha Legion marines "in the other direction", i.e by making everything else the correct scale in relation to marines, I am now trying to get my hand on stand ins for Guardsmen. Ideally they'd be the same scale as GWs LoTR range. Does anybody know some minis that fit the bill?

Try any proper 25mm SF figures.
GZG is the one I think of. They have a variety of factions for Stargrunt (many human).

Thanks for the tip mate! The site was lacking in pictures though, and I think the sculpts were lacking some detail. But while on the subject of 25mm, is there any 25mm HEROIC scale manufacturers?
