These are awesome. Love it. Great job.

I've painted the first terrain pieces for my "Terra Torn Asunder" themed gaming board: 4 of GW's craters
I decorated them with some sand, plastic card, a dead Iron Warrior (poor mate!) and some other stuff.
The Czech Hedgehogs are finished:
Sweet scenery![]()
Yea man, awesome scenery. That with your IW will make an impressive looking game.
You should make booby traps for them as well mate, that'd be awesomeLove the craters!

classic red is not bad!
Hey guys, thank you! Today I'm going to paint a smaller piece which is part of a larger terrain piece. But I can only show it to you next week at the earliest as it is still at my parents' house and I have to fetch it from there at the end of this week.
So stay tuned for another update today.![]()
Fantastic stuff, your bases tie in perfectly with them as well. See your dread in there makes me think that if you do another dread maybe have him stepping on (crushing) a hedghog on the base.
Thank you. I'm afraid the Dreadnought would have to lift his foot too high to step on one of the tank traps and that'd make him look funny.
Today's update features only a small piece: the (former) driver of the planned Imperial Fists Rhino wreck.
¡Death to the false emperor!
A bolter round would just leave a bloody neck stump
The army is bloody impressive mate. Its a stunning example of dedication and skill.
Cheers

I'll echo that comment by saying this is my favourite log, pretty inspiring to me as another Iron Warriors player. Keep the updates a comin'!
"You ask what I hate? I hate a creature that speaks of pride and honour, that fosters the love of his sons, that smiles and scrapes at every obedient act, and then turns like a diseased dog and stabs his own child in the spine!''
this log is an awesome inspiration...your painting is incredibly clean...and it looks very well done...
i hope you still are going to update a lot about them..
It's been a long, long time since I last posted something here. Permanent weariness and a huge lack of motivation were responsibly for that fact. Furthermore, I moved from my old, small flat into a new, really big flat I share with two of my pals. They're just as nerdy as I am and one of them even plays 40k.
But with the release of the new Codex Chaos Space Marines and the 6th Edition I'm back in business and keen on throwing Fabrilis's army into the fiercest and most bloody battles so that they will do Perturabo credit.
Some new devices of oppression are already at the 4th Grand Company command:
2x Maulerfiends "Doombringer" & "End of Days"
3x Obliterators
Daemon Prince "Quorthon"
A Heldrake is on its way to Olympia, too. Looking forward to reading your comments again!
Everything looks great, except that the head on the daemon prince is a little to far forward looking, but the oblits look amazing!
Thank you, sepulchre!
Just a short update: I built my Heldrake today and as soon as I'm finished with its base I'll show you a photo of it.
So far I can only say: damn, what a kickass model! I will leave the wings unglued until they've got their paint because it would be too difficult painting the fully assembled model. But I'm really looking forward to torturing that f*cker with my brushes and paint. I hope I'll get some good ideas and inspirations for its base until tomorrow.
And for the meantime I present you a DIN A3 picture I painted as a homework for one of my art courses at university. The theme was "Creepy Shadows".
Stay tuned!
Can't wait for the heldrake, getting mine soon, and have a couple of conversion ideas already for it.
As I promised, I present you the base of my Heldrake Death Fiend as I just finished decorating it.
It displays two corpses and the vital remains of more Guardsmen, which will likely be painted in the colours of my renegades. War takes its toll, eventually.
Also, I've just rounded out painting the silver parts of my Obliterators. It feels great to paint again!
