That Chaos BSB is looking very good.
I have been planning to do the same conversion to that helmet, but it did seem a bit tricky. Seeing how well it turned out for you, Im gonna try it whenever I find the time.

Well, the painting still goes very slowly but I actually have something finished! Test model for my Bane Thralls. The light isn't great today (case in point, the leather sleeve in the rear shot look like the same colour as the armour), but any comments?

I'm thinking a little darker on the armor, in the cracks and stuff. On your scrap thrall on the previous page, it looks like you did a thin chestnut wash on his power fist. I think the same on this guy will make him pop a bit more.

Yeah, I didn't notice the colour difference until I put him on the shelf next the the scrap thrall. I think I used Gryphonne Sepia/SB Leather wash instead of Ogryn Flesh/SB Leather wash. I'll fix it up once I've got the next one done. Thanks for the comments.

Well, that would require me to actually paint something haha. I've started working on Dan's great unclean one just for the heck of it, so I might put some work in progress pics up tonight if that will make you happy.

ok, so long time no pics. Its been a bit hectic lately so I haven't had much time to photograph anything I'm painting (and I haven't been doing that much painting anyways). I have started working on a Great Unclean One which I promised to do for a friend's birthday...4 years ago...I'll try to take some work in progress pics tonight if the light co-operates. For now I have some pics of my finished Cygor, which will be going up on eBay as soon as this bloody postal strike is over. Cheers

Cygor looks great mate, is that one of the Maelstrom Games sculpts?

GUC is shaping up to be a pestilential beauty, and I'm looking forward to seeing how you deal with the Mantic Ghouls.

Thanks Saul. The Cygor is actually from a company out of Poland called MaxMini. Its officially called a Cyclops and came with 3 variant heads, the one eyed minotaur head being the one I chose to use.

Not a bad week for painting. I managed to finish off my Cryx Necrotech for my Warmachine army. The lighting wasn't the best (damn you setting sun!), so I may need to take a better shot of him later.

Nice work. I really like his base and his belly looks disgusting, which in this case is a good thing. I like what you're doing with your elves as well, shame they're on the backburner for a while.

The eternal guard are looking good, like the hooves, and never occurred to me to use white lion torsos, think you should add a beast man head maybe on the base or tied to the waist, for good measure

Thanks for the comments guys. Got some more work done on the great unclean one last night, just have to work on weapons, nails, teeth, eyes. And of course go back and touch-up anything that needs more work.... I'm a bit at a loss to decide what colour to paint the weapons; metallics? attempt nmm? non-metallic blade thats made of bone or hardened pus? Any input would be great.
