Thread: Creating Mr. Vect himself.

    Creating Mr. Vect himself.

First off. Are there any pics of people's conversions of Vect for DE on the net?
Second, give me your ideas of how to create him.
I want to create him or atleast the ultimate Archon for my kabal.

Do you have any idea's of your own? It may be more helpful, and father some interest if you offer an opinion, or some input rather than ask people to do the work for you.

There is already a Vect model. Maybe take that as a starting point?

Yeah sorry, it was just that I was typing via my phone last night so couldn't bother with a long post.

Well, I would use the picture of him in the codex as inspiration. And I noticed the new succubi model had a haircut similar to his, so maybe using that head.

Also I saw someone here on Warseer using some fantasy High Elf cape, making an archon almost hovering above ground. That is also a nice idea, as I'd like the model to be towering over the rest alittle, to really show he's the no.1.

Where can I find the Vect model? o.O

Not currently on GW's site, but this is from coolminiornot (all kudos to whoever's it is and A.V. is the guy on the throne):

(You used to only be able to have him on his special Ravager -and he couldn't leave it- so all the stock/unconverted GW photos have him on the skull-throne).

Looking through my codex, I cant find a pic that is specifically of Vect.

By-the-by, are you wanting to model Vect on foot, or the whole Dais of Destruction?

Oh, sorry, the picture isn't in the codex, it's some other picture I found, so to be honest, I don't know if it's vect himself actually. But I'll use it as inspiration.
And, as I only have the pic on the computer now and not the link to the uploaded one I can't share it.
Anyway, forget that it's specifically Vect, instead, let me hear your thoughts on converting a more cheesy looking Archon. I have the ordinary one, but I want a more, you know eye catching model to use as Vect (or a counts-as).

Also, I got hold of some old DE bits including one of the old Raiders. I would like to mix that up with new bits and pieces to create the Dais of Destruction, as that model is slightly bigger than the new raiders I think it'll look good if I just can modernize it alittle.

    Thoughts? Tips?
