So the nomenclature 'Night Titan' is out - while I thought it was a clever play on words most people just thought I couldn't spell - not sure what to call it...
Rather than a Knight Titan, I'm kind of building a mini-version of a Mars-pattern Warhound, just cos I like the shape...

So here's where the thing is at the moment - alert readers might notice there's Eldar bitz in it, plus Defiler and some scratch building - the hip joint on the left started life as a Dreadnought missile launcher...

Translation:
Looking at the Forgeworld Decimator and the Forge-fiend/Mauler-fiend kit (promptly acquired!) I have taken a different direction with this stalking daemonic... thing...
Not completely happy with the miniature Titan direction I was proceeding in, basically I have started again on the upper body... maybe a new name too?

In addition, the release of the new Chaos Warriors and the Forge-fiend has renewed my interest in the Legion, so expect new conversions and hopefully some paint in the near future!

It's funny you should mention the missile rack dude because I've been cleaning mold lines off the Legion ready for painting (omg - Lamby's going to paint something?) and have been having second thoughts about the size of the missile rack.

Some easier reading:
The whole grey hatch, lock and chains are one of the Defiler hatches.
The yellow parts are 1/35th scale tank wheels.
Fluff (as it were) provided in the above report - but to simplify the answer, I saw these on the models listed above either read somewhere or (unlikely) came up with the idea that these type of Chaos engines are not possessed as such, but harness daemon power in the boiler-like thing.
Daemon-cage is just my name for the thing - I plan on building another one for my Forge-fiend kit bash... (still in design stage!)
