Yeah, wikis get a lot of flak from people who like their information set in stone by divine commandment. I actually like the "reader beware" aspect of modern wikis because it encourages a sceptical mentality that a source of information could be biased, contain inaccuracies, be based on limited or dubious evidence or even be outright lies. People can be too ready to believe that because something is published it must be correct.
I just see all wikis to be the collective knowledge of Humanity and is only as fallacious as humanity
