Warmaching hunting, demolition of support, flanking and rear charging, what don't I use them for.

The captain himself has I5 which is one of the best in the Empire, and with a lance, has 3 S6 attacks on the charge. The pegasus has 2S4 WS 4 I4 attacks AND gets a stomp attack. Due to their combined profiles, you basicly have a 3wounds T4 character, with 6 attacks AND a 22 inch threat range. n in the cheapest form, with a 2 up save for 114 points.

Can I get a hells yes?

Add a few fun items such as the Casket of Sorcery, a Crown of Command, or a Dragonhelm/gem and you have a few very sexy aces up your sleeve.

How do you think you're Orc playing friends will react when you launch one of these badboys with a 2++ save VS flaming into a horde unit of 40 orcs with flaming banner, JUST to find out that he has that save, and is stubborn because of the crown of Command. That whole unit, is going nowehere for at least a good while.

That's what I love about the Empire. It doesn't really excell at anything ( maybe warmachines, but Dwarfs and recently Skaven have good ones as well ) but it's an AWSOME allround army, that has so many sexy tricks up its sleeve, its just downright epic.

Well well well. After this weekend, we've got a lot to show you guys again. We're still rather unsure about the balance of SoM yet, since we ( the empire side ) gimped the DELF magic phase just by slapping down 3 Arch Lectors. Magic is VERY overpowered, and is way too luck dependant if you ask me.

Anyway, we decided to gear up and play a 8250 point SoM game. Empire vs Dark Elves. Again, I'm too lazy to put a caption under every picture, so again, its just a set of pretty pictures.

I just have to say that your army looks amazing, I don't play Empire (I picked Skaven) and seeing someone who's will to fully paint their army helps inspire me to finish painting the ungodly number of clan rats I have to get through.

Some excellenty shots. I have to admit that when I was scrolling down the photos, I thought the third shot (after the two individual army shots) was your battlefield and I thought the Toilet roll/Ash tray arcane fulcrum was a stroke of genius. Well it seems thats not the case but I did notice the Coffe Cup Cauldron of Chaos made it onto the main battle!

Can we see some close up pictures of your painted units as the army looks great and I wouldn't mind a close up of your captasus either.

Nope, it isnt done. Still have about 13 characters to do, about 20 Knights, 10 Outriders, 40 Free company, 30 Teutogen guard, 10 huntsmen and another steamtank.

Also have idea's for a new war altar, and I think I'll just build it for the fun of it.

SO no, expect more. A LOT more.
