I like your obliterator pictures, ive been looking to get some of my own and have been digging through ideas. Im pretty new and want to start my own project log soon. I also am running iron warriors. The guy who runs the GW near me gave me ideas on either ordering some or customizing some. I almost went and had them ordered for me tomorrow but... after seeing some of your pictures I may try a different route.

as for obliterators, you should always go your own way, but there's nothing wrong in taking inspiration from others.

i recently stripped my first space marine army of paint so i could make an allied warband of red corsairs for my iron warriors.

many of them are unfortunately missing their backpacks.

Wow, you've done a lot! I love the mash up of various Chaos and Imperial kits for your Chaos Marines (especially the multitude of Havocs you have).

I've also noticed how your chevrons have gradually improved over time, not to mention the Red Corsairs and mutants!

Mr Feral: thank you! i'm glad you like the chevrons, cause i'm never satisfied with them myself. i can't really take all the credit for the red corsairs, since i stole the recipe for painting them from Matt Hutson, when he was doing A Tale of Four Gamers in White Dwarf.
