Why is it always the innocents who suffer most, when you high lords play your game of thrones?Looks like you lost this game in the "purchase models" phase.
It seems to be a move to standardize things: Lesser constructs all have 3 wounds, while the larger ones have 6 (I think)
Nulla è reale, tutto è lecito. Requiescat in pace
So far the things that jump out to me as powerful:
Taking a Power Scroll, and a Pseudo Power Scroll(Arguably Better as it only requires one PD to use, but less chance for IF)
Keeping Characters Cheap and using them to support each other and units(TK/TP with Necrotect/Herald) alongside TG.
Units of 6 Chariots.
Warsphinx(s) with Fiery Breath.

Im looking at units of 3-4 chariots, in one rank for max impact hits, I agree keeping characters numerous and cheap to support other units I want to give the HeiroTitan a chance. Can you combine thier extra d3 with the casket?

So, are we thinking that a horde of Skellies with LA, Shield, Spear with a Tomb Prince is going to be the way to go?
Cause I want to know how to assemble my skellies....
yep....how about that....
I'd think that around 50 skellies with HW and Shield is the way to go... If you put a spear on them and LA they are going to be 50% more expensive for a 5+ AS but no Parry save. The 5+ AS is only better against S3 opponents and then only marginally, against S4 they are the same and vs S5 parry is better. I don't think upgrading them is going to be worth any of the extra points you could be spending on other stuff. If, however, the upgrades would have followed other cheap infantry and been 0.5 points each it could definitely have been worth it.
So Incantation of Rightous Smithing now gives multiple shots to the buffed unit, but can a SCC (warmachine) actually benefit from that?
Also about swarms, I've seen reports of them being both cheaper and same price, what's the real one? And what unit size? I think I saw something like 1-10, but not sure if it was confirmed.
Vampire Counts Army : At least 4000pts built, much more waiting for some love!
Tomb King Army : About 6000 pts of troops, all that is left is painting!
My Sales thread!
I have heard from someone who has read the book there is a magic item that is a mask that negates the use of the generals leadership and the battle standard on enemy units within 6 inches. This sounds like a pretty good way to make chariots effective to me.
Laying this monstrosity to rest. The new thread is up here.
