What did I miss, what did I miss?


Everything's looking nice once again. Really jealous of those Arcoflagellants. I wish I'd got some of those. The Inquisitor is very nicely done (and looks pretty angry). The helmet bearer is a very fitting addition. Makes him look much more interesting indeed.

Good use of the Master of Ordenance as an =I= Stormtroopers sergeant. I'm not madly in love with the model as an artillery officer because having him carry his own huge VOX is a bit silly but as a squad Sergeant it works really well. Also, the colour scheme is pretty cool which always helps. Kudos for doing the freehand skulls on the GK sergeant's back banner!

You're welcome. Well I have been working on a couple of projects since my log died... Obviously I continued with my Inquisition, which now is between 1500 and 2000points, depending on army selection. Most of the Grey Knight part of it is still unpainted though. Next I painted a small Dark Angels force, 1250 points + some variations, that will see some reinforcements very soon. Last I worked on a small Black Legion force which is now about 1000points worth, with about half of it painted. I think they will get their reinforcements the same time as the Dark Angels

Finally I am going to start an Adeptus Mechanicus force for a campaign my gaming group will start this winter (Horus Heresy - yeah!). They will get a log on here, so just some patience.
If you're interested I can post some pictures of my other stuff of course.

@ alaric: you have been busy there...I'd love to see some of it....adeptus mechanicus sounds good....take your time to make some decent conversions for em...im sure it will pay off...

and a small update to go with this...Its another WIP but you guys dont mind i hope...

its another dread for my grey knights...

also today i have decided i will first get rid of all the boxes i still have standing here that werent build or painted yet for my armies....
so expect a wave of templars after my grey knights are done...
The only thing i would like to get is gabriel seth now that he is gonna be finecast...i have had my eye on him for quite some time...what i will do with him you will have to wait for...but you can be sure it will be cool...

What kind of conversion are you thinking of for Seth? His face is a little crazy for Templars (I see more stoic religious fanatics, not raving lunatics), if you get him fine fasted it'd be an easier conversion probably. Also, would you be interested in picking up my Templars? Since they are painted to a decent standard, I doubt it would take much for you to incorporate them into your army.

Ven dread looks great too, did you magnetize the arms? Too bad it seems like my dreads all die or do nothing so far in all my 6th edition games, but they are such great models, excited to see your paint job!

Now this needs a bit of introducing...
I have been playing with the idea of doing these for a long time..last year after my birhtday i bought a bunch of chaos space marine boxes...and started building some night lords...
I wasnt so happy with how that turned out and left them for what they were...
Recently i started reading the Aaron Dembski Bowden books...and those have sparked my inspiration back to life...
Over the course of several weeks i started building models and started painting some....and last week i went to town on a few very cool models...

I will not be using any characters from the books or so...instead i have found this little piece of interesting fluff on lexicanum:

"Taraq Darkblood is a Chaos Lord of the Night Lords Chaos Space Marines. Said to be one of the most vicious killers within a legion renown for its brutality, Darkblood fought under the forces of Abaddon the Despoiler during the 13th Black Crusade. There, he commanded a Styx Class Cruiser, Darkblood, in raiding Imperial shipping.
Darkblood was finally forced into a confrontation in the Cadian Sector by the Imperial Navy and though it destroyed many Cobra Class Destroyers and the Lunar Class Cruiser Goliath, Darkblood herself was crippled and forced to flee the battle. What became of Tarraq Darkblood and his forces afterwards is unknown."

and because i like him so much...and i like the bit of risk....i added Fabius Bile to the force...
he will likely strenghten a squad of chosen or a normal marine squad that i will use for close combat.


I hope you like them...
after i finish the havocs i will first work some on stormtroopers and a stormraven for them...of this you can be quite certain.

Unknowingly you have taken your first step back to fantasy. One day you'll get a couple of Daemons for fluff games and before you know it you'll be using them as a fantasy army. MUAHAHAHA!
