Crispy Black Templars you've got there, I really like them lots. What I'd really love to see more of would however be the White Scars, as you really made those Khanate bikers stand out from the crowds.

@unwanted: im sorry to say the scars are a bit on hold for now... i would first like to determine for myself what to do with them and to see what is fun to play...i try to stay fluffy for that and still i am a big fan of dreadnoughts for instance...those i can already not put in there for instance...

Hey Breaz, I am liking the idea of the psilencer as the heavy weapon on the squad. You can indeed also turn it into a plasma or melt if you like.
The thought of it being for that special crusade is also cool (does that mean there will be more of those?).

A small detail I like is that a lot of the marines have such a high collar.

The new sergeant is also looking very good, I like how you did the stubs on his head and of course the high collar again.

the shaved head is really easy...it is dwarf flesh mixed with the wanted amount of codex grey....and apply where it feels natural...also works for stubbed beards...

and domino is on hold...he is a nasty inquisitor that just does what he likes....ordering random exterminatus on planets and stuff....so the grey knights are kinda steering clear from him for a while...

thank you as always...and i agree on a lot of those things...the higher collars are something i really like about these guys...makes them just a tad broader than most marines are...

I'm with Coalesce, it also adds to the knightly feel somehow.

The only thing that bugs me, and that's solely the sculptors fault, is the chains, which just doesn't look the part to me...

the chains are attached to a wristband...like ultimate dedication to their weapons

Yeah, I remember the reasoning, to make sure they never take a backward step. It's just the sculpting itself that bugs me, even your wonderful painting cannot keep my mind totally off the chain-issue

it has its charm when not all of them carry it....it individualizes the models nicely...
same goes for the robes and the cross and shield like seals...

I have another update for you guys....
the 4 other marines for the second tac squad are also done...but i do not have them based yet nor here atm...i am with my girlfriend for a week and had some time on my hands...so i painted my captain...

he is also not based because i did not bring my basing stuff...
when i get back home i will get right on that and will post the rest of the squad and the captain again with basing done

Very nice Marshall/Captain. That Thunder Hammer is particularly well done, both the head and the handle. The tabard looks a little rough around the purity seals though, and the wings on his chest seems somewhat washed out?

the tabard is a bit weird...irl it looks really fine...but youll see once i take them from a bit further away...i think its the structure of the model or so....
and the wings on his chest are pretty much the same as my other templars...but perhaps its more visable here...i dont know...but irl he looks quite fine
