I've always loved traitors. So much potential for funversions (I did not mispell that). Great job painting those Plague Ogryns, and the Hellhound is superb. Looking forward to more![]()

Small update
Defiler is done:
Shot of the plague marines:
I didn't manage to finish this due to a leaking glue bottle. I was putting the models together with super glue until the top of the bottle clogged. I tried to open it with the hobby drill and some squeezing but it ended coming out of the sides. Since this stuff dries in about 2 seconds I had to spent the next 10 minutes removing the bottle from my fingers. So, until I can buy some new glue that doesn't clog in the bottle these guys remain unfinished.

It's been a while since my last post, mainly due to me being lazy. Not having access to a camera for a while didn't help tough. Even so, I have painted some more things.
Command squad
First half of a squad
I decided to go with a different skin colour, since they are worshippers of nurgle in the end. The previous effect was a little to bland in my opinion.
Nurgle daemon prince:
More zombies
Finally finished the lot of them, 41 in total.

Cant wait to see the DG painted. I also like the collection of what seems to be Ork, imperial, and Nurgle stuff on your Bigger models display. The stompa looks ace.
Smallish update. I finished the rhino and the second squad of plague marines. I also started converting a venerable dreadnought in a chaos version. Since I love all things Nurgle (although that sounds a little gross) I've also started converting a venerable dreadnought into a more appropriate model.
I wanted to do something different with the second squad of plague marines and since the guard vehicles turned out so well I decided to try a different scheme. So far I really like painting this deceased, bony white.
And the dreaded dreadnought:

Wow. The Deathguard look great, along with the vehicles. I really like how this thread is turning out. I just had a thought about Defilers, and thought if anyone else has ever thought of using a Plague Hulk as a Nurgle Defiler? I recently saw what it looks like, and it is too beautiful for me not to have, but not so essential as for me to have a whole Daemons army just for it.
Really liking that squad of plague marines, I think they look extra menacing with white armor. Keep up the work man, lots of gold nuggets in this plog.
Thanks for the positive replies lads. I have finished Necrosius now, he is a FW model for a Nurgle sorcerer which can be used in a renegade imperial guard army and in a regular CSM army. He was loads of fun to paint due all of the little details on the model and the presence of two nurglings.
Back
I've also started building some more mutants with the use of my fairly large bit boxes a box of gors and a box of chaos marauders. More to come later on.
And that's it for this post. If you'd like to see me paint anything specific then just post a comment and I'll get onto it. If you have any advice for what I should collect next, I'm open to suggestionsOn a related note, I managed to get my hands on a vindicator on ebay, so that means it will be even easier to split up the armies and use them separately.

Nice Necrosius. You glued on that beastman's horns totally wonky.

Ah thanks, the horns fell of either way so I've managed to fix that. I put it together without looking at the manual so I didn't see it had to be attached to a particular head.
On the painting side, the dreadnought is finished. It's done in the same scheme as the rhino. Not much else to say about it

I love the gritty, dirty look of your Power Armour. For some reason it looks so good, yet so simple at the same time.
Haven't been painting much lately (although I just finished 15 goblin wolf riders) so this is another small update. I finished the first squad:
And I've finished building and converting the Vindicator
Mark of nurgle on the side
If I can manage to undercoat it tomorrow (it has to stop raining someday) I'll probably have it finished before the end of the week.

I need to see those mutants painted. You have some classic conversions there.
Hmmm zombies, mutants and otherwise nasty stuff... I like it![]()

The plague zombies look ace, I have a unit of them as well and they are great fun to play with! The renegades are well painted too, how many of them do you plan on having? Keep up the good work![]()

I have 20 more assembled, so that's thirty in total. I would have gone with bigger squads but that is a little to expensive. I might end up building some more, but that won't be for a while. At the moment I still have to paint around 20 mutants, 2 heavy weapon teams (and one which needs a change of skin colour), 20 renegade guardsmen, the priests (if the paint will stick to them after I clean em for the third time) and a vindicator. After that I will either start building the plague tank from the apocalypse book or order the greater unclean one from Forgeworld and add some plague bearers.
