List looks a lot like mine, I use a Machine Gun lord rather than a second unit of WW though. I've had some good results with the treekin, (Aside getting turn one roasted by a magma cannon.) If their ward was permanent then I think I'd give them best MI in the game.
Good luck- ha remeber you got pitted against 1 out 2 Chaos Dwarf players last last tourny.
Hopefully this CD player does not go Destoryer/cheerleader squad route.
What is up with that eagles wings-?

go go 100mm by 100mm!
"they cannot stop the signal-!"
Basically, I snapped off the tiny little pin on the flying stand that slots into the hole on the eagle (by accident of course), so the eagle no longer goes on the base I made, which by the time I broke it was fully painted and so on. I'm not really sold on my eagles, and I'm currently looking for alternatives, so I don't really fancy doing up another flying base for it.
I've tried putting a pin in the stand in the past with other models in similar situations, but it never really worked.

So I think withs life Mage and 2 treeman is that life is a pricy lore to cast. One fail cast that ends the magic phase will hurt as in such a scenerio you will not be healing the 3men.
And curse really should effect open ground like the TK curse.

I want to do Wood Elves... thanks Tom, jerk.
And because of Once Bitten I want to do Bretts. JERKS! MAKING ME SPEND MONEY!
The local gaming store owner says thanks.

I saw your list preview. Good math hammering on the BoEF unit. I'll be using that for my next lists. I'm also thinking of trying out a noble on an eagle with a great weapon or spear for proper warmachine hunting or character blitzing
Something like Noble, Great eagle, Eternal kindred, light armour, shield, spear. Fimbulwtinter shard and mask of eeee (Could use dawnstone I suppose but I quite like the idea of terror)
4 I7 attacks at Str 5 On the charge, 2+ save (rerollable with dawnstone option) 3 wounds and fly for only 186 points.
Funny you should mention that... I'm working on a Highborn for a couple of lists to do similar sorts of things. One is my ETC list for a singles event, and the other is for an event that has 2 games at 1800, 2 games at 2400 and the last 2 at 2999. The caveat is that each list has to contain all the elements of the lower points lists- you can add new stuff in, but you can't go back and change anything that you already had. I think it'll make for an interesting event, I went through quite an in-depth list-building process getting my 3 lists together that will make, I think, for a good tournament preview a short way down the line. One model that featured in both the 2999 list and my ETC list is a very specific Highborn.
Essentially, after doing a lot of thinking, at bigger points levels I really struggle against Greater Daemons, and also Destroyers will likely feature at any ETC comp event I attend- I forsee them being comped to being sensible (always wounded on a 6) but they're still pretty nasty, so I was doing a lot of thinking about how I could deal with one, and also a Greater Daemon, and that's how I came up with this gentleman (there will be a competitive to name him once he starts to feature):
Highborn, light armour, shield, Great Eagle, Sword of Anti-Heroes, Dragonhelm, Stone of the Crystal Mere, Potion of Foolhardiness, Annoyance of Nettlings.
With his eagle he can speed-tie a Bloodthirster (which I felt would be very important in trying to counter one), and he also cannot be Thunderstomped (which is absolutely key, as the rest of his kit would not help him if he was on foot). The Dragonhelm walls the Destroyer, and Annoyance will also go a long way towards walling a Bloodthister- for a time at least.
For his weapon, I was torn between the Sword of Anti-Heroes and the Potion of Foolhardiness, or the Relic Sword and the Potion of Strength- the first set helps out more for going after Greater Daemons (and also character assassination), but does nothing against a Destroyer, whereas the second set does a little bit of good against both. In the end, I went with the Sword of Anti-Heroes on the grounds that Greater Daemons will be more common. Also, with Lore of Beasts, there's not a bad chance I'll be able to turn him into a literal Savage Beast to really put the hurt out on anything he goes into...

So had a game with my W.E.
I mounted my lvl4 on a steed+ glamourweave talisman.
I easily got in range of what needed to be wild formed and easily got out of harms way.
Savage beast+curse o Anraheir on the BSB+ stone of rebirth made for fun fun times.
Just a thought, I really liked the mobility on the Lvl4 as I really fear being forced to hide in a bunker

This has nothing to do with anything....but just wanted to pick your brains on something. Do you think a skink skirmisher list is possible/viable at 3000pts?
Yup I think so, I think you could make a really nasty one as you can trick out both of the frogs (at 2.4K you can only get one Discipline and a smattering of items on each of them). It's a few months old by now, but when I saw Jack Armstrong's list at Winter Incursion at the end of last year it made me so happy I almost made a mess everywhere and started playing Lizardmen. I just tried to link the pack which had all the lists in, but I think they've been taken down by now... however, I came up with a Lizards list a little while ago that was based heavily on his. At 2.4K, my list (which I've not been over again for a little while, so it might need some updating) is:
Light Frog general, Rumination, Dispel Scroll
Metal Frog BSB, Soul of Stone
Mounted Scar Vet, Sword of Striking, Charmed Shield, Dawnstone, light armour
Mounted Scar Vet, great weapon, light armour, Dragonhelm, Amulet of Itzl, Firefly Venom
9x10 Skirmishing Skinks
20 Skirmishing Skinks (so that the Frogs have somewhere to dive in to get a LOS if they can't hide)
6 Chameleons
6 Chameleons
3 Terradons
3 Terradons
2 Salamanders
1 Salamander
1 Razordon
1 Razordon
Like I said, it's not really my list, and there are a few things I might change- for example, dropping a unit of Terradons for more chameleons, as I've never really worked out what their optimal number is (I think I've heard good things about units of 12, but I could be imagining that- this is where the playtesting comes in). To get this up to 3K, I'd probably kit out the frogs a bit more (Loremaster on both would be incredible), maybe get a Skink Priest with the Cube of Darkness in, go with a third Scar Vet, another Salamander (or 2), another Razordon and some more chameleons and/or terradons.
I very nearly sold my Wood Elves before they were done to fund this exact Lizards army, but I managed to hold of temptation... maybe I do need 2 armies this year after all though...
Hope this has given you a bit of food for though
On a side note, after looking at this- Slann are stupidly OP![]()

Speaking of Lizardmen, after watching all your videos and hearing it repeatedly brought up, I finally sucked it up and stopped using Life to give a Light Slann a go.
Damn. You were right all along.
Yayyy! Have you ruined anyone's hobby with Skink Krox yet? They're dirty![]()

My skink-krox regularly ruin people's hobby already :P They especially love ruining chaos knights. Even without buffs they can pretty much hard-counter a lot of things that they really shouldn't.
Yes i remember the lists you are talking about, quite a few people took skirmisher lists. Which made me seriously consider it.
While not sure on the double slann, i understand metal but light? Not shadow?
Skrox, pfft, everyone knows they are lame![]()
