I don't really come across many big nasties but I like the idea. Decided last night to repaint my wood elves to be somewhat werewolf esque using the skinwolves as treekin. Just can't think of a suitable eagle and dryad replacement

Thanks for the reports, I'm curious about why the rat dart couldn't be stomped because its a mixed unit. Where can I find this rule? Would be great to reference for my squig herd.

Squig Herds are infantry, not mixed

Pg 76 under the rules for Stomp:

"A Stomp... inflicts 1 automatic hit... on one enemy infantry, war beasts or swarm unit in base contact with the model"

Individually, Giant Rats are War Beasts, and Packmasters are Infantry (as per the Bestiary in the rulebook), but in a unit they are Unique because they are mixed, similar to Skink Krox units (infantry and monstrous infantry).

Squigs and Squig Herders, however, are both infantry as per their bestiary infantry and so are an infantry unit which may be stomped as per usual.

What software do you use to record and produce your battle reports? I'm considering doing my own tournament reports in this style.

Are you planning on going to Summer Incursion?

I take the pictures on my iPhone (or did, before I dropped it in my tea a couple of days ago...), and do the recording on a handheld dictaphone that I got and then upload the audio files onto my computer via USB. I then use Windows Movie Maker to put the pictures and the audio file together, mainly because it is free It's far from the best of programs, and if you styart be sure to save the videos frequently, as WMM has a nasty habit of crashing when you go to process the video. Speaking from experience, it is incredibly frustrating to spend 30 minutes putting a video together to then lose it and have to start again >

At the moment, I am indeed planning on going to Summer Incursion I might even take my Dark Elves to that, seeing as the last event I took them to was also an Incursion where I did so badly with the

So I bought the monstrous arcana. After reading it I thought I'd try to make Toms head explode. You can get a Destroyer as a Summoned creature........But you can then buy upgrades for it. D6 Impact hits/Any attack that rolls a 1 to hit it does a s3 hit to itself/Make its thunderstomp 2d6 and able to thunder stomp any type of unit/Fly

Thank god these can't be taken in tournaments.

Tom! I dont know if this is too late but stick your phone in a sealed container (tupperware) full of rice. Or those sachet things that you get in trainers. It really does work.

Aw- I am sad that it seems that you hate Mournfang more than Skaven...maybe when the 8th edition Skaven book comes out (probably before the wood elf 8th) they will get great pox rat riders RnF that will be the top cheese!

My main gripe with Mournfangs is that they allow bad players to win games that they don't deserve. Skaven are at least difficult to get the hang of, and have a degree of unreliability. However, there is literally no skill or element of luck involved in pushing 12 Mournfangs across the board at someone
