In the Grim Darkness of the Far Grim Dark there is only Grim Darkness, and skulls.

Dont get me wrong Grimmeth, literature like art is entirely subjective.
What I like is the vibe, it kinda comes across a little like the corporation bad guy from the Avatar film, with a little extra cheese and some dodgy one liners. The fast pace keeps you moving forward and not getting too caught up in the throw away lines.
It's not the kind of material that is asking to be analysed too closely but then it's a racy bit of script to get you into a gaming mode with the corporation models on the table and in that role, I think it works.
High art literature it is not, but thats not what it's meant to be.
Interesting story, the forgefathers are described as a 'subjugated race' yet their entire species is implied to be fighting against the corporation , maybe the story should have it be that those forgefathers are hiring themselves as mercanaries.
I think the 'subjugated race' bit is only from the Corporation's perspective. I doubt they view themselves that way.
The metal heroes Mantic releases are always the best of the best. I wish the plastic minis would resemble the sculpting of your showcase models more. (no criticism towards the plastics, it's just that the metals usualy are even better and sometimes of an entirely different sculpting style)
Getting the same sculptor to do a whole range is quite important I think.
Everyone has a different sculpting style, and you either have to roll with that, or put a lot of effort into making everyone sculpt in the "house style" like GW and PP do.
Corp and Veermyn won't be a problem since Remy is doing all of them.
If you play any of Mantic's games, check out my Battlescribe project for KoW and Warpath.
I had a lot of trouble making through it as well. I found that it didn't flow very well. It wasn't my cup of tea anyway so *shrug*.
I really like the concept art for the big rat ogre hulk thing, but again I find myself wishing there had been more of a sci fi look to the concept art initially.
Sweet, a new Warlock Engineer!
I like the artwork, but I think you folks may have strayed too far into steampunk. It really doesn't strike me as a space-faring creature.
EDIT: Actually, it's not unlike Ikit Claw...just more than overboard with the bling, swap the halberd for a drill, and trim the "claw"
In other words...yeah...it wouldn't look out of place in Clan Skryre. Color me unimpressed again...but I suppose I can just use my skaven in warpath and call it good.
Aye me too.

"Mantic: like GW, minus the GW-ness".
So there is no armour in the corporation armoured Division. Odd
First post of the Roundup updated. From Mantics latest newsletter. Concept Art of the upcoming Iron Ancestor mini for the ForgeFathers army.

Whats the background for these then? It seems to be a dwarf thats wounded, in a robotic suit as opposed to a dwarf wearing a suit - correct me if I'm wrong![]()
