Only problem with that approach is that you lose all the discussion and the reasoning behind the changes, leaving Alessio with a cold checklist of suggestions to read.
Summaries are good, but they need the thoughts behind them to be viewable too.
In fact, the thoughts and discussions are more important than the suggestions, because, if the suggestion isn't workable for some reason (and there are lots of reasons that we would not pick up on but a professional rules writer would), then you need the core of "what problem is this intending to fix" to be viewable to come up with an alternative method of dealing with the issue.
I really think that an official thread or 3 on here is the absolute best way to go... one for the rules, another for each of the army lists.
If mantic is relying only on BoW for feedback then it's not going to get the best results. One month after the orc beta list was released, I posted a topic on their boards with a few ideas I'd heard. I was the first person to do this, a full month after mantic initially asked for feedback.
Meanwhile, both the mantic forums and warseer were filled with a whole ton of intelligent comments and thoughts on the Orc beta list... which presumably didn't get read because BoW was the "official" place to post feedback. That was the reason why I made the post, I was concerned that there were a lot of major points raised that were never going to be heard.

If you play any of Mantic's games, check out my Battlescribe project for KoW and Warpath.
It may be due to whatever agreement they have with BoW. They had the alpha and exclusive pictures etc.

I would prefer discussing it at the Mantic-Forum. But it really needs an upgrade...
I've just made the three threads for feedback you'd like to bring to Mantic's attention Re: the Warpath Beta.
Thanks for making those!
As for the rules themselves, I've had another read through and now think that's they're pretty awesome and that a lot of good decisions have been made to sort out some of the problems with 40k. There are loads of little things where I've just been thinking "40k would be so much better if they did things that way" It just needs that extra bit of polish to finish it off and remove some of the odd complexities that seem to be plaguing it.
Think Mantic are on to a winner with this one as long as they can get people to actually give it a go rather than dismissing it for being different to 40k. KoW has done a good job of marking itself as a quality alternative to fantasy, hopefully warpath can do the same.

I don't think they only base ideas one what they get from Beasts of War. That was not the case for KoW anyway.
I distinctly remember suggestions brought up by myself and others which made it to the rules. Those suggestions were not on Beasts of War. I can't remember if they were on the mantic forums or here though. I believe it was both.
I remember because I was incredibly pleased when one of my ideas got through.
Also, as I've said on the feedback thread... I also really like the rules, and from the little play experience I have had I don't think there as many issues as some people (who may or may not have actual play experience).
Some interesting stuff on Beasts of War... The Corporation - The British Empire in Space! Sounds good!

Yeah, I saw that video, was interesting.

Just watched the video. Background sounds promising. I'm beginning to wonder if we'll see human Warpath miniatures before we see any KOW human mini's.
Not too pleased that the other possible Warpath races will initially be discussed in another BoW area that again will require a Backstage Pass subscription.
Oh well, I'm sure that info will become public soon enough.![]()
You remember that cat-track thing BoW showed us a while back? I just found some earlier concept art.![]()
This might be a daft question, but I take it that Mantic have kept the Marauder name for the second Warpath race? Yeah, I know its not that important, but I dunno, I'd rather play Marauders, rather than Orx/Orkes/Orikix.
Whenever someone says "I'm not book smart, but I'm street smart", all I hear is "I'm not real smart, but I'm imaginary smart".
The impression I get is that the army is called "Marauders" but the race is called "Orx" - in much the same way that the army for one of the other factions is called "The Corporation" but the race is called "Humans."
What interests me is that the Forgefathers are the most technologically advanced race, and based on the Dwarves of Norse myth - are they going to take it a step further and say that the norse dwarves, Nibelungen etc were early spacefaring forgefathers who taught primitive humans the secrets of forging steel?

Would be really brilliant if they tied some of the forgefathers background to human norse mythology.
