That's more like it. The apothecary upgrade helps a lot in the troops despite its huge points cost.
Really I would never have guessed at 160 points for a single dude he costs morE than most HQ choices.
:-P lol. Yeah, does allow draigo to shrug off almost all small arms though. Guess it's expensive for a reason /think large paladin units were expected,/ but even on small units and characters it usually feels worth it. And their points cost being more than most hqs only reinforces the herohammer/movie marine theme.
It's movie marines we only got 4 and 6 dead ones I want see.this v.s the green tide and at the heart draigo against gazghul.
I've played a green tide with my 7 model version at multiple objectives. Was a massacre to both sides. End of the game was 1 paladin-apothecary holding an objective and 8 orks holding another. Great big draw but what an amazing game.
My army may not look like much but it does put out 2 ordnance templates at s7 rending, 2 ordnance templates at s5 2 flame templates at s6 another at s5 and one at s initiative test (or s10 blast if I prefer) and the vindicare Dicks about shooting nobs. Still the orks don't give in easy. :-P
I think that in your original list the raven will die fast so I say if 10 models or less you got to go super soldier spam so either horde monsters or horde and we can't spam monsters or horde so mech or go home so you have 6 dreads.
Mine has 24 S7 rending 6 S6 flamers and draigos and then enough dreads to stop the green tide from walking.

Land raider list is pretty Pimp. But I already have a blood angel army thats 4 land raiders at 1500 points. So my grey knights are kinda my infantry army.
Also I have no time for redeemers. Godhammer lascannons all the way! ;-)
No if you play grey knights you are only allowed to purge by fire. Also I bet your blood angels don't get a raider for almost every guy and only 4 dudes and if they do I want to see your list.
Haha, no my BA list has 21 dudes plus the 4 tanks. Sadly. :-(
I much prefer my magnificent 7 list though, especially for casual games, springing 4 land raiders on someone in a pick up game doesn't win you many friends.
Well evidently you have no one who plays eldar like me I play over anti mech in 1850 I put more bright lances I'm the table then parking lots have vehicles. Though I have trouble with hordes but that's why I bought a night spinner.

Well the core is obviously draigo 2 paladins stave apothecary.
Now what can we add if we go mech we have to go all mech.
We can go three of my ven dreads and 2 of your dreadknights we then have 35 points or 2 ven dreads and 3 knights then drop apothecary on 1 and master craft there weapons. For 5 points left. And 8 guys.
I think redeemees are the only raiders.worth taking especially with all the grey knight bonuses.
I totally agree, used one against a greentide list, pretty much won me the game, orks charge in and bounce, redeemer reverses and kills half unit![]()
They take all the aspects of grey knights and put it in a vehicle: psychic abilities broken flamers and broken assault cannons.
I guess the reasons I dislike the redeemer is it has just never performed whenever I've played against it. But I guess thats down to my peculiar armies ( sanguinary guard, 4 godhammer land raider list and my all 2up save grey knights.
But I can see how it would make best use of all the grey knight shenanigans. Also a warp stabilisation field could be funny, although I know already how hard deep striking a land raider can be. :-P
I play draigowing normally so I've lost a game due to all my units this the irony scattering on to a land raider that proves that they'd be a pain in the ass to deepstrike.

Godhammers are good raiders however they have a very different role in a GK list and really plays on the greys knights strength of versatility, thing with the godhamers is if they move as if a transport hey lose a lot of anti-tank because of only being able to fire a single shoot, the redeemer while only being able to shoot one weapon will get 4 shoots with it which are more likely to pen most tanks, once it get close and unloads its package it can switch to anti infantry, even shooting a single S6 AP3 flamer is going to do more than than a heavy bolter when in position against most units. A strength 7 assault cannon makes all the difference when it comes to firing against tanks, it makes it reasonable effective against AV13 and 14 (50% chance of a 6 on average dice rolls, wells slightly more because of the rerolls to hit).
