The fluff describes it as an Arabyan breed of Pegasus that absorbs sunlight, which when threatened can then discharge that energy like a magical solar flare. Come to think of it, I do now also recall Disney had some fire-breathing Dark Pegasus in the first sequel to Aladdin.
Just a thought...
Had my first team game with SoM, was rather funny. As WoC, Villitch on a fulcrum miscast and turned all the mages into frogs. Then in the shooting phase My Hellcannon misfired. The result was all mages on the board miscast. There probably a dozen miscasts at least counting both sides, and about a half dozen Arcane Fulcrum Miscasts.
Being all fogs, none of our miscast altering items (Infernal Puppet and High Elf Talisman where you re roll two results and choose which.) were any use. Noone lost any mages save the Skaven player, who was rather annoyed that his Brass Orb carrying caster(I think it was an engineer) was about to Brass Orb an Emperor Dragon. Needless to say, it was the funniest Warhammer moment I ever had.
Looks like all the dice have disappeared. Possibly a glitch in the shop, but maybe they've all sold out?
Color-spesific ones sold out within couple of days of putting them up, so it is reasonable to assume that the basic set sold out by now.
Pah! Ordered one of every set of dice, arranged for me to pick up from the Edinburgh store, and they weren't there.
Nothing to say it's been despatched though, and the Edinburgh GW Manager has had them redirected to me. Which is something.
is this a must buy for Fantasy like the old magic box? or is it a separate thing? i still cant tell.
