Nice, that should make for a fine board.
Darn good terrain effort in my book. Here's hoping the town will be growing. Then perhaps.....an invading army of Orcs![]()
I am therefore I think OR I think therefore I am?
heya mate,
just a quick question; are there any plans for a bar/tavern as of yet?
Sterling work as always

A ha, yes. There will be soon. I would like to make a tall and rickety one first.
Some friends and I are just about to start a Mordheim campaign as we are bored with fantasy for now. We have started to make some ruins. I will try and add pictures when I find a way around uploading them from iPad![]()

Beautiful scenery!
I'm really interested in how you do the roof tiles - you mentioned laser cutting card. Are you able to go into any detail about how you achieve this? What equipment is involved? Is it something that is done by a third party?
The Hammer and I
Looking for other Warhammer Fantasy players in the Bicester/Buckingham/Aylesbury area for informal games - can host. PM me if interested.
Hopefully you can see the pictures now. I found some picture buildings.s in an old WD magazine and thought i would try making some similar buildings.

I got the building bug again. We have a small ruined house with a balcony, ruins of a stone based house which is heavily burnt and a couple of ruin scatter pieces. All of the ruins have been made to allow for big sausage fingers when playing. I still have some rubble, texture to walls and bases to add before painting. I'm sure you can get the idea from looking at the completed buildings at the top of the page.
Each floor is 2 inches high with the floor sitting at that level. We decided to make them 2 inches as they look out of scale if they are any taller. Walkways between buildings and floors can then be placed with ease. There is still ample room to get your models in. Walkways, balconies and ramps are all 1 1/2 inches wide. We thought one inch was just too small. strips of balsa are mostly 5 and 6 mm to give a little variety. Windows, balcony decorations and roof tiles have been laser cut from 3mm acrylic, 3mm balsa and thin card.
Hope you like them. We aim to play test them before basing and painting.
lovely and professional looking scenery
I have some more progress for you. I have textured the wall panels now, added some sand and coated everything with black acrylic. The main techniques used are then drybrushing. The buildings come along really quickly after that. I have added some posters which I found on another forum. The persons name escapes me but thanks! I think the posters look great.
The last two pictures are of the base for a large house centrepiece and a city platform/harbour which will give an extra dimenion of height.

Cracking stuff mate. Really inspiring. Love Mordheim and this has got me thinking I need to have a game or two.
One of my favourites is the city platform/harbour board. I'll be *ahem* borrowing that as inspiration.
Love to see a shot of everything together some time.
