grinds my gears
when podcasts give out tactical advice but it is generally only good if you play power armoured lists (there are other armies out there)
when people tell you only one list works in a book

Just to let you know I am Dyslexic.
This means that some of my spelling and grammer will be incorrect.
Thanks
Or as Balerion put it,
Oh, wow. You are to language what a Hive Fleet is to biological matter and DNA. Realigning, recombining, amalgamating, recreating... perfecting.
What grinds my gears?
-People deciding they are going to use an army I own and attempt to make overpowered lists with them, but don't buy their own models. "Your High Elf Prince on Griffin can count as an Archmage on Star Dragon right"
-A game that is meant to be fun, turned into a "who can build a more beardy army list" or "who can take advantage of old rules in army books" game.
-People that think fun= never playing a fluffy/sensible army. 7 Steamtanks in the empire and you have 2 in a 2500 point army? Really?
-People that think playing non fluffy armies, only using the most powerful units -vs- a balanced army with choices that would actually be in an army if it exsisted and winning means they are great strategists.
-Matt Damon, just can't stand him.
Matt Ward fluff raping. Seriously. I can't with that, is far beyond me.
People who think "Fatecrusher" is the only viable list for daemons.
The older I get, the better I was.
People who claim to play for fun but cry when they lose by a large margin. (even lose for that matter)
People who refuse to play a ceritan army.
People that get mad when there fluff list is critized but openly critizes non fluffly list.

8. No more Kill Team article in White Dwarf. I'd to see additional material such as rule amendments or new ones added. Maybe this has been cleared up in newer editions, I don't have access to them at this time.
9. Not enough Liber Apocalyptica article. Good combinations so far.

What bothers me is I see people not understanding assaulting a unit. I see people take a lot of short cuts when assaulting(I believe this because they were taught this way). Like you have to get into base 2 base with a unengaged modal if you can, even if you don't want want to.
I have played people who didn't want to engage a unengaged modal because it would make them go through difficult terrain as the only way they could get to the modal is through difficult terrain.

The ever so hilarious use of Failcast or Fineca$have, we get it from th actual content of your post that you don't like it but for good or ill its named finecast or "FC". Calling it names is petulant and childish... (imho)

Nothing grinds my gears more than a curb stomp battle in either direction. Wasting two hours of my day is no fun, especially when it becomes obvious on turn 2 or 3 that the game is already decided.
The overall negative community (often myself included * hypocrite*). I do understand that this negativity isn't really peoples overall view of the hobby but still.
Before i got on the internet i was perfectly happy with my chaos codex.
My number one biggest annoyance is the price. I have a single friend that plays and several others that would if they could get it cheaper. Here in Australia, the prices are EXTREMELY high and games workshop have even cut of our access to online stores like Wayland games. Even if they brought Australia's prices in line with UK/US prices, that would be great.
I Haven't brought a model in 2years, yes i can afford it but NO i won't pay these prices.
It annoys me that others complain about prices yet continue to buy it furthering the problem. You can sign a thousand petitions but if keep buying it...
So Price grinds my gears, i can get over all the power/balance issues waiting for codex's etc. But it needs to be at a price that doesn't drive me and friends away.
Whilst I tend not to use those names myself, I can quite understand others using them.
I'd argue that GW naming their product 'finecast' is an act of arrogance (especially since it has failed to live up to that name), and is frankly no more childish than calling it fineca$h or failcast.
