Thank you Gonzosbignose, I'm looking at the vallejo jade green paint now, once this is shipped out I will finally finish the Tervigon.

Also big shout out to Lothlanathorian, hazmiter, silverstu, Angelwing, Swampman6 and Mr Reznor, all your guys comments and contributions to this blog keep fuelling my fire, appreciate that.

With lack of the actual paint I need to finish the Tervigon I have taken to modelling instead and have been busy putting a rather dynamically posed Mawloc together.

Anyway this is the plan.
1) Wait for my new paint to come.
2) Finish The Tervigon.
3) Paint the new Mawloc
4) Grab a urban basing kit and spend a entire day basing the whole army.
5) Actually have a game with this army! (I haven't played in 3 years now) !
6) Start on Scythed Heirodule.

I will be posting my army list on here later on and maybe some shots of the new Mawloc in his fancy pose (imagine him springing out from underground like a darting snake, giant open mouth coming straight at you)

I'm waiting on a sanguinius model from a gaming site, has natural wings, blood chalice and artifice armour.
Get to paint it as a sangui or.
Still have yet to start a project log myself.

Wow what a lovely surprise to read these comments today, thank you Silverstu, Hazmiter, Lothlanathorian, Venomblood and Skidman. You guys kick ass and make me want to paint more models, cheers.

On that note I have had a slight break since I've been gaming a lot. Something I have found to be fun but I feel I need to find the right sort of group, at the moment the guys I'm playing are very driven by winnning but not the hobby side of it so lots of unpainted armies, which is a shame. I get the biggest kick out of the whole spectacle of 40k, two huge, painted army's on a great, well painted terrain board, aaaah bliss!

Anywho in the meantime I have been doing little bits and bobs of hobby, I've transformed the mawloc in a trygon by swapping the mouth around, simply because ive done a new kick ass mawloc conversion of him bursting out of the ground like a snake and I didn't want two mawlocs in my army just yet.

I have also been busy basing the army with the urban basing kit, I've found it to to be quite useful (very expensive for a tub of rocks though)!

The heirodule is primed black and ready and I'm doing some finishing glazes on the Tervigon to dull down his sac highlights a bit (his huge green ball sac is abit in your face)!

I will post pictures of the new painted Trygon and the mawloc conversion in the week.

Yeah, urban basing kits are expensive, might want to look into scratch building some bases, ie bits and pieces from the 40k scenery, spare lamp posts and stuff.... Or make them from general hobby bits, I find that the sandbags from ww2 scale models are good, as are the trees from the train set kits.
