***UPDATED 1/27/2012 NEW PICS OF WIP PLAGUE BRUTE CONVERSION***

I am running two logs my Death Guard army is an army that I am alot closer to finishing and I have a Dark Eldar log that started up but then got shelfed to finish up my Death Guard Army. But anyway here is some of my Death Guard WIP stuff. Some of my 90% completed plague marines in the case, my terminators, dreadnaught, and land raider WIP, my Plague Marine Champion WIP, Death Guard Obliterator WIP, and just a pic of my WH40K Man Cave in the basement

My old stuff from 10 years ago was really crapily painted as I sucked painting back then i'm still not a pro but my current stuff looks pretty good i think going by my DEATH GUARD log. Check out my Dark Eldar log to see my old stuff from 10 years ago and more recent stuff I am working on now. I am stiving to do my dark eldar even better.

Already very excieted about this plog. DG are by far my favorite band of badies. Most of my projects before my current endeavor were DG/Nurglich.
I really really really like the WIP champion. I am not usually a super big fan of the classic look, but you have pulled it off so well I have suspended that opinion just for you. In fact it has inspired me.
I'm watching this with great anticipation

I'm trying to make them as best as I can. But I have to give credit it to Latro_ as I borrowed his paint method that he detailed in the following log:

His nice work in detailing his method got me back into the game and painting like never before.

A few folks have commented to the how-to, glad it was of use. It'll never be a golden daemon method of painting but it gets them done so quick and looking good, thats what most people want to achieve with an army.

Here is my WIP Death Guard Dreadnaught and he's Magnetized!!! Makes him way easy to transport and cool posible and I can take off weapons as they get blown off or if he get wrecked i can bend him over and keep him there as cover.

And now my DG Terminators in progress and Magnetized (thank god I did that as I originally had them all set with lightning claws but damn could never get them into combat consistantly they kept getting shot up so now i changed thier loadout with out having to buy a whole new set of terminators)

Been a while I have not been able to paint much lately due to it being way too hot in my basement where I do all my work....but now in my local area we have a WH40K 1850 pt Tourney on July 31st and then the Ard Boyz Tourney on August 13th....sooo my new plan is to put my Dark Eldar on hold and concentrate on finishing my Death Guard and getting enough points for Ard Boyz 2500 pts. I'll try and post some pics of Typhus's Plague Marine Squad and later in the week my Death Guard Nurgle Defiler is getting a major overhaul as I scored the ForgeWorld Plague Hulk model and a Soul Grinder for about $40 each on Ebay.

Ok missed that tourney due to familiy commitments. the weather is finally getting a bit cooler and my basement is a decent temperature to get to work again. Now I am in full swing getting ready for Ard Boyz I am going to post pics this weekend on the progress of my Plague Marine Champion WIP, Changed weapon loadouts of Terminators and added one more Forgeworld death guard Terminator to the mix, and my Nurglization of my Defiler

I will be posting more progress on the Defiler tomorrow after the additional green stuffing I am doing tonight hardens up a bit and I started working on one of my Rhinos so i'll have a few pics of that too....I finally finished assembling the last of the 29 Plague Marines too. I am hoping to get some priming and more green stuffing done tomorrow so I can start painting again...good thing Ard Boyz has no scoring for best painted army but at least my Death Guard will be all correctly WSWYG'd I have a 1850 pt tourney at my local store (Gamers Gambit in Saddle Brook, NJ) 2 weeks after Ard Boyzs so I will really try to get the 1850 pts all based and painted by then.
