I will be posting more progress on the Defiler tomorrow after the additional green stuffing I am doing tonight hardens up a bit and I started working on one of my Rhinos so i'll have a few pics of that too....I finally finished assembling the last of the 29 Plague Marines too. I am hoping to get some priming and more green stuffing done tomorrow so I can start painting again...good thing Ard Boyz has no scoring for best painted army but at least my Death Guard will be all correctly WSWYG'd I have a 1850 pt tourney at my local store (Gamers Gambit in Saddle Brook, NJ) 2 weeks after Ard Boyzs so I will really try to get the 1850 pts all based and painted by then.

Well believe it or not im i'm going to the Ard Boyz Semi Finals I got 3rd place in the Preliminaries...I quickly assessed my list and my models at home and I am making changes...I'm not so much in it to win it but more to represent my Death Guard. I think it is more competitive than my last list for the Preliminaries and I would welcome some suggestions...I am working on the assembling the Havoc Models tonight and I will try to post pics.

yeah but my tendancey is to think up and start a lot of cool things and never see them fully completed...BUT I am trying to complete ALL my Death Guard stuff by the end of 2011...right now I am getting side tracked tonight to assemble the Death Guard Havocs I added to my Ard Boyz list....and I have enough old classic nurgle CSM Renegade models to also convert up my Death Guard Chosen squad for that list too. I have a 1850pt tourney coming up August 28th that I need the Havocs for that list so I am going to do them up starting tonight. And then I was thinking about resuming work on the defiler OR just finishing up Typhus and the Daemon Prince once and for all because I have to get stuff painted for that tourney since it is scoreble. I have till September 19th for the Ard Boyz Semi Finals to work on the Chosen.

I totally know how that goes. I have killed many armies off before they were even half-way complete. Never bad to run a few projects though. The idea factory needs different scenery now and then.

Ok here are the Death Guard Havocs im starting up....now I know since its DG I should be doing Plasma and Meltas but this is for a tourney so its gonna be 1 Lascannon, 2 Missle launchers, and one heavy bolter. Oh yeah and they are magnetised so I can always change my list and weapons.

I used 1/8 in. x 1/8 in. and 1/8 in. x 1/16 in. (Inches)

Metric would be 3mm x 3mm and 3mm x 1.5mm

I try to buy only N52, N50, and N48 strength neodyium magnets most common i have is N50

No progress pics today but I did finish up assembling the lascannon havoc with his magnets and I started building a second rhino....here is a biker I was working on. Toughness 6 bikers hmmm. Goal for the rest of the week is finish up the havocs (just some Death Guard simple green stuff for them) prime and base them, base the rhino, then try and make sure all plague marines are based and drybrushed and first round of ink, then I think I will concentrate on finishing HQ Typhus and his squad and thier rhino, the just work on individual squads and i'll save the defiler for last. I went all stupid crazy magnetic on that bike by the way because I was planning on putting a Death Guard Sorceror on it and I wanted the paint job to be perfect so I made it competely detachable im crazy.

hmmm question i had 2 classic plastic plague marines and I thought I put them in my jar of simple green but I cant seem yo find em. Would un watered down simple green completely liquify 2 plastic models if they were left in there for two weeks?

Great work on the Defiler. I just finished my own Nurgle Defiler last night, but your green stuff work is far superior and... Nurgly.
