Lovely, lovely paint. Very similar to my Hive Fleet Kali Ma (see plog) but your paint is cleaner and your basing orders of magnitude better.
I love my Tervigon, but your sacs are amazing. (That sounds dirty.)
And you're Malanthrope. I too thought it was a FW model reposed. Damn.
May I ask how long it took you to paint all of this? And would you mind sharing your formula for the scheme/exoskeleton?

The carapace is done with the following steps
(calhtran brown - devlan mud - calthran brown in stripes - dneb stone in stripes)
The exoskeleton
(dneb stone - baal red - dneb stone blending)
Timewise 30-60min per gaunt size and up to about 10h for the large creatures. In total it has taken me about 2 years from start to finish....althou i have done a lot of other project aswell!

Incredible standard through out the army! Even the lowly gaunts are top notch.

There is some Swedish turnaments coming up and I have entered 2 off them!That means it´s time to get cracking on my tyranid swarm! This time I´m going for som monstous creature so the goal is to do 2xnew Tervigon, Mycetic Spore, Trygon....time span about 8 weeks....
