Hi everyone, i've recently gotten into a cool game called Malifaux. This will be my painting log for Malifaux miniatures : ) They're made by Wyrd Games, and they are in 32mm scale and have more realistic proportions than GW's 28mm models (well at least the showgirls do).
See http://wyrd-games.net/ for more info about the game and miniatures : )
i've played a couple of games with borrowed minis, and had to think hard before deciding on what crew i wanted to start out with. There are so many that i like! Eventually i settled on Colette and her burlesque showgirls since they're so different from anything i've painted before.
Here's my first showgirl. The first pictures could be better i'm afraid. You can't quite see all the detail, like her eyeshadow. Oh well, i took one with another camera too, a better one.
This miniature was so fun to paint. i spent a lot of time on her and it was hard to stop. In the end, i'm very happy with the result.
i tried to make her look hispanic. The wooden planks are made out of plastic card. Oh and the base might get something stuck to it in the future, like some playing cards, coins or something.
Here's a very zoomed in version of the picture i took with the better camera. Heh it's fun to see minis enlargened this much.

I think the addition of some playing cards or some such to the base would really set it off well.
