All rot. It's awsome
Disgustingly awesome.
This is the war-ravaged world of Warhammer, and there's only WAR!... and hammers.
Mere mortals are supposed to go insane when they behold a Great Unclean One. That almost happened to me when seeing your model! The gore especially looks almost real. Disgustingly good job indeed.

Thats grim.
Well done!

Thank you brother! Amazing work on your blog too btw, keep it coming!
Evening all!
It's been a little while since I did much work on this army (I'm easily distracted apparently...), but I'm pleased to say I have an update!
I was intending to use the old school LoC to represent Fateweaver (see above), but that idea has been scrapped in favour of using him (and his brother) as Tzeentch Daemon Princes, to lend some cheap firepower to the army. I did some minor conversion work on these two, just filling the holes where their wings should go (60pts for wings?? I think not!) and sculpting some feathers to blend it in. As always, let me know what you think!

They both look exelent.
Loved your old school WE and DG, love this as well. Great to see all these old models get some attention!
However, most of all...
...that GUO is just INSANE. Extremely well done. Extremely disgusting as well, of course, but in a good way!
Cheers,
BTB
Very nice stuff Vomikron! You know how to bring these old minis back to life. Here's to hoping you get to spend more time on this army!

Thank you for the comments chaps, always nice to read! I'm pleased to have a little update for you this evening...
Been working on my Tzeentch Heralds:
Still very much WIP, but let me know what you think! I'm still going to add Tzeentch symbols to the chariot prows, and add some spiky blades. I seek your advice on one thing though: should I have the Screamers attached to the chariots with chains? I'm reluctant to use real jewellers chain as I think it'll be far too fragile and will irritate me! I was thinking of leaving them unattached, with the idea that they're magically tethered to the chariot... Any thoughts?
That's awesomely funky in a good wayI always had a soft spot for the skull faced sorcerer.. very curious what you'll do with it.
Keep it up brother!

Run wire to the chariots and green stuff flame around it perhaps?
Thank you brother! I've always been a fan of that model, and I converted him slightly to reference the classic "Werner Flamefist"
I was considering some sort of magical flames or something actually, not sure how I'm gonna make it work though :S
Interesting heralds. I think they will look sweet.
I like where these chariots are going. Good use for the old renegades. But... four tentacled discs? It took me ages to win 1 for a sane price.
This thread brings up all kinds of nostalgia. Good job!
Thanks for the comments brothers, I've almost finished assembling the chariots so I'll get some pics up soon!
Trust me brother, it's safer not to think about the amount I've spent on this army... The amount spent on my Daemons, Death Guard, World Eaters and Ogres (all mostly OOP) could probably have put me through University again...
