As promised, here is more....
Just a small update tonight, finished the Changeling:
He might be Finecast, but he's still METAAAAAL!
I'll try to get some whole army shots taken over the weekend, might surprise myself with the amount I have painted!

Hello again chaps!
Got another update of sorts for you (I'm on fire this week!):
Just some shots of the army (what is painted at least) as it stands in the embers of 5th ed. Who knows how things will change over the next few weeks and months as 6th ed makes its mark...

This can be only said with one word.

My newest plog Chaos Daemons & Blood Pact Armoured Company .
Space Wolves, the 13th Wolfwing, O&G army WAAAGH! Red Skullz, and last but not least my Blood Bowl teams.
Team Anarchy, a norwegian gaming community.
That's a freaking awsome armyThe gods are proud of you.
A fine evening to you brothers! A have an update for you...
First up, finished off some new Horrors to accompany the Changeling:
And here is the man himself, cavorting about with his mates:
Lastly, thanks to 6th edition changes, I decided to add wings onto my Daemon Princes (despite originally making a point of assembling them without...). I can't complain too much mind you, my army has otherwise escaped any detrimental changes due to 6th ed, and has just got better!
Not too much tonight, but let me know what you think!
Indeed, and amaizing army![]()
Haha no such luck I'm afraid brothers! I'm actually really looking forward to getting my 6th edition on
Got a sort of update for you this evening... My Nurgle Daemon Princes were painted for my old Death Guard army several years ago, but i want them to see some action in my much newer Daemon army. The problem is that their paint jobs, while still nice, were looking a little dated next to my newer stuff. So I broke out the Tamiya clears and gave them a little sprucing up!

Edit 2: Updated the pics to something a little better!

Evening brothers... I've updated the pics of my "revisited" Daemon Princes to something a little better. Your comments are very welcome as ever!
Well, and you deserve all the praise you get mate. It's a very sweet looking army. I'm betting the new plague bearers will fit in very nicely with this horde, the new models have a nice old school touch. Hoping to see them in here soon, all dark and gooey, Vomikron style!

Looking awesome! Those old GW sculpts are crude and rude, but they have a certain undeniable warmth to them. And your painting is wonderful---how do you do that blood effect so well? Is the tamiya clear red you mentioned earlier in the thread, painted over a pale flesh tone or bone color?
Thank you as always brothers!
I'm eagerly awaiting all the new daemon sculpts, I've been very impressed with pretty much everything that has been released for Daemons since the codex. There's a lot of references and homages to the old school style that I'm so fond of!
Thank you brother! The blood and slime effects are actually very simple thanks to the wonderful Tamiya clears. I usually paint the fleshy/bloody/slimy parts a very pale flesh colour and then apply the clears after varnishing (I use a matt varnish so I want to keep the blood nice and shiny). When I apply it, I mix in a little brown or black ink/wash with the clears and use a stippled brush to apply the mix, followed by a finer brush for any drips. Very simple and effective!
Greetings brothers! Got an update for you:
I painted up another objective for the army, as you can now have up to 6 in one mission. This time it's a human magister performing a summoning ritual to enlist the aid of the gods (be careful what you wish for!):
And secondly, thanks to the WD price reduction on Flamers, I thought it'd be rude not to paint some up! (This is only half the unit, I've got another 3 in the pipeline):
Next up are some new school Bloodcrushers and a bunch of new Screamers. Let me know what you think!
The objective looks really cool. The scribblings in the book are perfect.
I really like it when people specifically make objective minis for their army. Very few people ever do and those who come the closest are usually just using an unused miniature or weapon from their army.
Great stuff!

I also like the book objective. From Arkhan's chariot, no? The new pics with the Tamiya clears are much better too, with the first shots I was a littleat the shine, but now I can see it really looks good. Might have to pick some up.
Really nice, especially the chariots, may try something similar for my WOC.

Thank you muchly brothers! The book is indeed from Arkhan's chariot (accompanied by an ancient Chaos sorcerer), good spot! More on the way soon...
Evening chaps, got a bit of an update...
I finished off a couple more Flamers to make a unit of 5, soon to be accompanied by another 5...
Got an old school herald on a disc to lead them, I'll try to get a pic up tomorrow. Let me know what you think!
Awesome old school models, nice paint job on the FW GUO.
The best Flamers IMHO. Nice job!
