i am using a lord of the rings troll chieftain as the creature pulling my warshrine. =)

Mix river-trolls and chaos spawn.

I made some cool chaos trolls from the plastic chaos spawn with some ogre heads and clubs as well as some additional bitz(loincloths made from cloaks, chains from flails).

yeah some great ideas there and some cool looking models, and i will use some the ideas.
i was browsing net other day on army lists for a chaos troll army lead by the troll special char(throgg , or sumit like that)
and i found 1 list which was intresting he had 3 mages in his army and throgg , but what he did was say mage number 1 was - a tzeench mage mounted on a disc of tzeench and then had other magic bits , but to repersent it he built a troll with wings and made him look more magicy
only problem i thought with this was he repersented the model in the form of a indervidual model, but it gonna look like a troll but hit like a wet blanket( when trolls are supposed to be powerful.
GW makes many Trolls and now has a box of Rivertrolls that are highly customizable.
Feel free to convert some.
I have the river trolls. They look fine as-is, much better than metal chaos trolls. You could easily add some chaos shields, horns, weapons, spawn bits though.
