    That warsphinx looks phenomenal! Although he's only "finished" if you're planning on having your army fight on jet black, flat ground. Interested to see how your bases look when complete!

    Update time:

    expanded my archer unit to 30 --> this gives me 60 additional points in the Tale.
    Also, I painted up the unit of Necro Knight that I got last week. Slowly but surely I am being drawn towards getting a Necrosphinx as well, since I do believe it has its uses and it's a great model.

    This is the 2000 point army I am about to bring to bear on a bunch of HE's this afternoon:





    It includes;
    King on a chariot, Sword of Striking, Armour of Fortune, Dragonbane gem

    Tomb Herald BSB, dragonhelm, shield, Talisman of Endurance

    Liche High Priest, lvl 4, Pidgeon Puckers Amulet

    3 chariots
    3 chariots, standard bearer
    35 archers, full comm

    Warspinx, fiery roar
    3 Necro knights

    2 SSC
    1 Casket

    Adds up to 2000 points exactly...

    Main things that could ruin my day are 1. big blocks of spears, 2. a dragon! 3. two dragons...

    This list was obviously not made to be used against Skaven.... deep units dont break on impact. My unit of chariots with King and BSB could not destroy the unit with the Grey Seer before being destroyed. The Warsphinx missed his special attack 4 times on a 3+, but still managed to hold his own against the skaven units fighting him. Same for the Necro knights. However, both the Warspinx in the front and the 3 knights in the flank could not kill the Abomination in a single turn, despite wounding it with the Fiery Roar at the beginning of the combat. Need a banner Necro knight....

    Very nice army - it's always great to see large numbers of painted models - one of the best sights in Warhammer is a fully painted horde!

    Hopefully my own TK's will reach this size one day - always nice to have inspiration.

    Btw, how did the HE game go? I would think the elves would suffer against that much shooting and all those chariots.

    The game against the He's was not to be, he brought skaven instead. These chariots and the shooting did little against his massive units - kinda the anathema of this army... My army is still expanding btw, the 25 skellies with spears are still ready for painting, and so are an additional 15 sword wielding skellies, 4 chariots and 10 Tomb Guard, + 3 ushabti. All I need is time...

    Wow! This army looks so good!! And it's massive! I love the dark feel you have, settra just looks amazing!

    Please tell me your formula for green! It's really jade-ish, I've never painted green like that. Would love to know how you did it!

    You should work on the camera work but I really digg your army!

    Got distracted a bit by Warriors of Chaos lately... did not paint any more skellies. Should finish that 50 strong spears unit though... the bone has already been painted. Perhaps for next month's tale. After that it's just Ushabti and 16 cav. models, which I'll never use in the game I fear (maybe the horse archers...).

    Settra is awesome in a game! Having WS 7 in a 6" radius is amazing and almost singlehandedly won me the game against this skaven army. Totally trashed his army with my Warspinx that finally started hitting his Thundercrush and Settra took out a Hellpit Abomination on his own, while being charged by it!
