Hey guys, so here's this month's update: 50x6 + 40 (command) =340 points... the large unit (could be separated into two units of four chariots) had two chariots added to it, one with a banner. The other one is unit with full command, based on the heads of the Tomb Guard. These are the King's (or prince's) personal bodyguard.

Nice ushabiti!!
Cannot see the Tomb Guard heads on the charioteers-I see the BSB and the King/Prince with a flail.
Hope for close ups!! Very nice BSB!!
"just make the Base size reasonable"
go go 100mm by 100mm!
"they cannot stop the signal-!"
Now that's a good chariot unit! No clue about the practical applications of 10-strong chariot units, but it looks awesome! Great plog, keep it up!
Against hordes it might work, but you do need a ranked unit in the flank as well to cancel out those ranks. But it hits like a ton of bricks with 5xD6 S5 impact hits... More practical and cost effective is a 4x2 unit though...
I Love your army! Very nice

Army: Tomb Kings
Unit: 6 skeleton horsemen, 10 skeleton horse archers.
Points: 6*12+10*14= 212
Total Points in the Tale: 1870+212 = 2082
HIGHS: All cavalry done for the army for now. In the (further away) future I will add more Necro Knights, but not for now or in a while... Love the regular horsecav models but they are just not very cost effective in the game. Being able to deploy a prince in them might make them worthwhile... Luckily horse archers have their uses!
LOWS: not game effective.
NEXT MONTH: WIP on first Tomb Guard, finishing the final normal skellies. I expanded the tomb guard models in my possession to 20, but this will turn to 30 or 40 before the end of the tale. Think that would make a nice big final project to round off the army!
With these models finished, all the models that were unpainted in the assembled models + existing army picture are now fully painted (and some more)! Will update that army shot when I get the time to do so!
That's quite some army you have amassed now, and that table is aces, love the pyramid!![]()
Current Campaigns: A World in Flames
Old Campaigns: The Rise and Fall of Rhatep
Current Projects: Lizardmen 1500 Points
Old Projects: Orcs & Goblins 5500 Points
Alright, so I said I would show the entire army: here it is. I do not have a better camera unfortunately. Still: you'll get the picture...

Okay so I have sinned. My plan was to have the army finished with the addition of the 30 tomb guard and the final few (14 hw/shield skellies). I was going over the army book the other day and realised that in fact, Necroknights are such an amazingly good unit. So I bought another three, allowing me to take units of 4 or 5 to the battlefield. The plan is, in fact, to add another three, allowing me 1x5 strong and 1x4 strong units. After that, I do need a Necrosphinx as well but that's it! No more after that! Okay, maybe another Warspinx....
Ahhh knights knights knights. It is either those or TG aye.
I love your army, very nicely painted and quite complete.

Very very nice. Its an awesome sight to see so many painted skellies ... makes me realise how little I actually have done so far. But yes very impressive, i am looking forward to seeing all your knights.
Also any chance to get a better pic of your knights?? ^_^
