    Vallejo-AoW paint set

I've just received the following from Felix at AoW

    ------------------------------------------------------

Acrylicos Vallejo and Avatars of War have joined forces to create a new paint set for the Game Color range.

The new set contains eight colors from the Game Color range, a new Dwarf Berserker miniature from AoW, Borg IronFist, and a step by step guide on painting the model using the the colors included in the set.

Börg Ironfist miniature can only be purchased via this set, available as a limited run of 500 units.

Disappointing - another extremely cool mini that they've decided to only make 500 of. I even intend to switch over to Vallejo as my current paints run out - though that might be a while.

Plus I can find no listings of the colors included, or any hint of when it will be available.

Why does everyone insist on making limited edition models? If they're good enough to release, release them. If they're not, don't.

Indeed. The mini looks great! I have all the Vallejo paints I need, but I do like the mini....

As much as I would like an angry midget version of Gotz von Berlichingen, I don't like that mini too much. I'm also not so fond of Vallejo paints (though I use their satin varnish for my Eldar)

Yeah not too fond of the miniature myself either. I know AoW can do much better than that.

Simples, it sells more paint that way.
