Well done, great army.
Only thing which pops into my eye are the devourer gaunts. Their weapons are very very bright I think..
Looking forward to what is next :-)

One day I'll commission an army from you... They look incredible. I'll let you know when I get a job that covers more than rent!
If you like what I've said please return the favour
{ Champions of El'Jonson: The Deathwing }{ Dark Eldar: Purple and Spiky }
{ Mordheim } { Tale of three (sometimes four) painters }
"Next" is the Trollbloods army I'm plogging in the Fantasy project logs forum.
@HadrielCaine - It wouldn't feel right, painting an army for you. Your style is too unique.

Welp, here we are again!
The client for whom I painted this army came back to me and asked if I could add a couple of units. "Oh yes," said I. "What did you have in mind?"
So I got eight Space Hulk genestealers... and another Trygon.
Here're the first four 'stealers:
R.
Finished them all, so here's a blow-by-blow of each member of the new brood:
Spotted a few small mistakes on these, but they're basically done.
R.
One more addition to Hivefleet Everblight:
Hopefully, that might be the last 'nid I paint for a while!

Received back from Freelancer Dave R:

Wow! The tervigon and tyrannofex are amazing but the winged tyrant is just breath taking- I love the wings and the depth of tones- it looks so sinister.
My random painting log- 3/3/2013 now painting winter VC- black knights.

Whee!
Look what I got!
R.
So here's what we've got after a couple of days' work:
Let's make this clear quickly: this is not the natural pose of the model. Once it's been safely pinned and glued to its base, it will be crouched down low and menacing, which is why there's so much very dark shading on the underside of its torso.
I should have this all finished tomorrow, with a little luck and good following wind...
R.
So now he's pinned to the base, you can have a look at his proper pose:
His arms are still pinned on and only basecoated and I have to do his dorsal vents, still, which are separate (mainly because I forgot to glue them on!). I also have to paint the little critter on his base and add the snow.
R.
All done!
R.
Some new recruits from the norn queens of Hivefleet Everblight:
The work of Freelancer Martyn, who's done a stonking job on these, IMO.
R.
Sweet army, the client I very lucky.

Looking good. Are the Gaunt tongues going to get some pink paint? Those splashes of color really bring the models to life.
