Cookies for most of you! VenomBlood was correct with the right hand, its from the Ghoul King on the Terrorgheist. Managed to snaffle one from a mate who made the Zombie Dragon instead. I'm not sure where you think the chain came from though, no ogres here. They are part of the hump off the Wracks.
And abbadon188 is right about the mask. The Cairn Wraith masks I originally got for my Trueborn but they didn't seem to fit well on the Kabalite heads, for some reason they work very well on the daemonette heads. YAY!
I'm gonna do a little more work on her tonight as she needs to have more limbs. Whats a Haemonculus without numerous limbs flailing wildly about???

Cool.
Can't tell any better due to my low standard of English.
Very cool then.![]()
As usual, there are so many beautiful things and cool ideas in this topic.
Your conversion seem a bit expensive but but they are worth to be seen.
As expected I started to copy you ...
Please, continue to send us updates to this fantastic work!
That most recent guy is absolutely terrifying! It's like Jason meets Pan's Labyrinth...
Thanks again guys. Pazuzu, share and share alike, loved your idea for the grotesque spine and I'm probably gonna use it on my abberation when I get around to makeing him. Dan, I love Pan's Labyrinth so
Here's a very poor picture of what I got up to on the weekend. Can't seem to get good pics at home, they always come out better at GW, maybe coz the lights are actually good there. I'll get better pics next time I'm there. Anyway, here's Talamask Seffan, Coven Master of the Fleshwrought:

Thanks Loth. The picture really doesn't show the face clearly. I tried to go for very sunken eyes so gave him purpleish bags under his eyes then did pin-prick white for the eyes themselves. I've done the same for the last two Haemonculi too and the rest will get the same treatment. Also you may have noticed that the face is pulled over bare skull. I like the idea that this guy is soo ancient he is falling apart even as new limbs and such are popping out of his back.
I plan to carry that onto the Scourge faces and the Sybarite for the Warriors. Better pics this weekend hopefully

I did notice the skull. And you succeeded in giving those eyes that sunken look, mate. Keep up the good work.

More painting and more pics!
Had a rather productive week (by my standards) last week and got the 1st of the Pain Engines almost completed. Behold:
I gotta say, as much as the finished thing looks great it was a pain in the a** to paint it. The skin was a really headache and the sheer amount of detail on the rest of the kit is very time consuming. Like I said, I love how its come out but I'm dreading doing the next 2 engines now. Just gotta highlight the carapace and maybe add some glyphs and he's done.
Also got some better pics of the Haemonculus Ancient:

Loads of great ideas, conversions and paintjobs. Always a joy to have a look in here.
Cool paint job as usual...
If i'm not really a big fan of the purple, this one match very well with the blue flesh...
Nurgle Daemon army : The Creepy Legion
DE Coven army : The Darksnake Brotherhood
My other xenos log : Tyranid hive-cyst Hrosshelvi and Kroot kill squad
My terrain Log : Pazuzu's Gameboard(s) and terrains
Great paint job, really like the flesh tones and the first Pain Engine looks very sinister. You have anymore conversion work up your sleeve?![]()

Always conversion work going on but at the moment I'm focussing more on painting. I've got pretty much the whole army built except for a few warriors, a second raider and the last Grotesque. Now that I have a few models painted I want to see a lot more finished off. Starting work on the Cronos at the moment. Figure If I can get the 3 engines out of the way thats a big hurdle done and dusted. The next major hurdles will be the Grotesques and the transports.
You've still got my thinking about a 3rd Talos and I've got plans for a Ravager out of the Hellpit Abomination. That'll bring me up to 2 more heavies than I really need. Once I get the legal army done I'll look at expanding, then you'll be seeing a lot more conversions

Cool stuff, I'm looking forward to seeing more paintedI defo recommend making a Talos with legs
maybe you could make the Drill-legged one as described in codex DE? I'm still thinking about how I want me second Talos to look... I really like your idea of it holding a wicked sword!
By the way I like the idea of a Ravager from a Hellpit AbominationI actaully played around with the idea of having some kind of floating biomechanical creature for a count as ravager myself.

Great name, awesome conversions, great start on the paint job.

@ TorturedSoul: Thanks again man. Seems like we're bouncing ideas off eachother's armies. Your concepts are giving me some really good ideas. Hopefully I'm doing the same for you.
The 'Drill-legged Shriviners' in the codex do sound interesting but I'm actually not a big fan of the idea. I think normal legs is the way to go. I'd either go with 3 or 5 legs to give that non-simetrical feel I've got with the rest of the army.
Some good large swords to give your floating Slaughterfiend would be the Hive Tyrant bone sword and the plastic Daemon Prince swords. Or you could always make one from plasticard.
@ Daniel36: Cheers man. I wouldn't say awsomest but I am hoping it will look very cool and distinctive. I've been thinking up a few short fluff stories to give a background for the Coven but haven't gotten round to putting them down yet. When I get something written I'll post a few stories to give the army more of a history and feel.
