Basher new log off every thing i do

well now that i've joined the new tale of skirmish players i thought that i'd start a new log of all my work.If you've seen either of my previous logs you'll know that i'm mainly a warmahordes thats moveing on to other stuff like malifaux,eden,infinity,spartan games and the new cutlass game.

well i've got my ariadna primed, and put a bit off paint on the wulver unfortunately i drop the sas guy when i was taking the photos so he not in the pic



last night i got a bit bored and re painted my slayer




and lastly i got a little parcle today








tommorow i'll do a little unboxing of the eden stuff from taban but for now happy gaming

Excellent work so far. Your models are looking great especially the Ghost Raiders.

to be honest drear i hav'nt used it yet keep meaning to put it in a game, but in the end i put an arc node on instead

well like i said i'll do an unboxing of the taban stuff

so first up is the grey daimyo this guy is big and comes with a 40mm resin base due to his stance. After dry fitting he looks like there will be very little green stuff used.



next the carmin ronin he's on a normal 40mm base and very much like the daimyo



and last is the black kunoichi this guy is on a normal 30mm base i was a bit dissapointed because his leg was broken of the tab with a bad twist so will take a bit of work to fix



and last but no means least is the rule book and cards so you get everything you need to start playing straight away (the rules are free to download from there website)



all in all i think this is a fantastic starter set for a game and if you want to check out the other faction just go to the taban web site

well i'm on with painting a tyrant commander and standard bearer for my skorne as well as molik karn then i think it will be a big building session of all may new toys

I've loved the Eden Models since I first saw them, so it's great to see a fellow Cryxian painting them.

And splendid models as usual. I really should paint my WM but I'm waiting on an airbrush.

i got the paint sceam out of a no quarter mag

prime with black

then spray from directly above with white primer to create shadows

then wash with a yellow/green ink wash 5/1

then highlight in a off white colour something like ivory just the flesh,fire and smoke

then wash with a 9/1 mix of yellow/green ink

then wash clothes,weapons and equipment with a balck wash

yeh the site dosn't translate well into english the best way to look at the minatures is in the shop.I couldn't find much fluff in there

well i've had a change of mind about the taban stuff.The white metal is actually quite soft while drilling to pin the left arm it snaped of under no presure what so ever witch in my mind explains the leg on the black kunoichi and one of the banners on damyio shatered when i droped it.

well on to other things i've got a few bits done





and i got this guy nearly done just got some sigils to do on the carapace to cover the dodgy blending







and finally got this guy built with lots of pins

not to bad he's very poseable, scavarous was a nightmare though.i'd leave the arms of when painting i put him together then had to take them back off

Do you get a chance to play Warmachine much? It has become really popular down here recently, im intrigued to see how its doing everywhere else.

for years i played warhammer with a small group of friends when i started my current job i found a few who played but did nothing about it.One of them kept on about warmachine but i was a big gw fan boy (played there games for over twenty years) about three years ago i was starting to det really fed up with price rise's and other things, i'm not going on a rant or it would go on for to long.So i went to my mates gaming club and everyone was playing warmachine so thats how i started and i gave my mates a few games and there hooked aswell.Been to a few differant clubs around the area and from what i've seen its mainly the older lads that play the younger kids one play 40k
