so time for an update been ill for a week and havn't picked up a brush in a few days but i've finnished some reeves of orboros this afternoon and some stolz class destroyers for dystopian wars

How you doing the blood gore? I've been looking for a classy/easy way of doing it.

it's a coat of tamiya clear red then while thats drying dab on a mix of clear red with a dot of black mixed with uhu glue to make it stringy dont use a brush for this part it will ruin it

So some thing a bit differant this time (i do have some mini's done but the weathers not been the best for photos) so i'm trying out a battle report.Haad a mate over yesturdy and he fancyed having a go with my cryx so we had a quick 35pt battle

So we have lord exhumer scaverous
erabus
deathripper
nightwrech
wraith engine
full bane thralls
2x warwitch siren
necrotech
and a scarlock


Epic makada
molik kharn
titan gladiator

min pretorian swordsmen with ua

hakaar the destroyer

So set up cryx

So first turn skorne went first Gladiator forced for rush and ran. Makada cast lesh on molik and road to war then ran everyone else ran

Cryx warwitch 1 power boosted Deathripper. Deathripper ran.Warwitch2 power boosted the Nightwretch which ran.Scaverous arced feast of worms through the Deathripper killing 1 slinger and 1 swordsman Hakaar took two souls cast deathward on Erabus. everyone else ran

end of turn one



turn 2

Hakaar moved his vengence move slingers moved up and did 5 points of damage on the Wraith engine and killed 1 bane.Makada cast road to war .the sworsmen charged the Wraithengine and Deathripper doing 3points of damage on the engine and 5 points on the Deathripper.Hakaar charged the Wraithengine and destroyed it.the titan forced rush and charged the Nightwrech and did 17 points of damage

The scarlock cast telekinesis on the the titan and moved it 2" and turned it around.Banes charged the swordsmen and titan killing 3 swordsmen and doing 26 damage on the titan.
Warwitch1 powerboosts the Deathripper and it kills 1 swordsman.Warwitch2 powerboosts Erabus.erabus charges Hakaar and kills him.Scaverous cast telekinisis on Erabus and moves him back 2" out of the way then cast's telekinisis on the savage and turns him around.the Necrotech moves up and heals the Deathripper



turn 3

Swordmen use there vengence move which i'd forgoten till now and kills 1 bane.Slingers kill 2 banes and Scaverous has contiuose corrosion.the swordsmen do 9points of damage on the Deathripper.Paingivers enrage Molik and heal the Gladiator.The savage charges and destroys the Nightwrech.The Gladiator kills 3 banes and gives rush to Molik .Makada casts road to war and lesh on Molik moves and drages Molik with her then feats. Molik charges Scaverous game over.

I really like your Orboros Reeves. They've always been my favorite Hordes army, I just never much cared for the sculpting on several of the Beasts. I dig what you've done with yours though.

That Bronzeback Titan came out great! Really liking the colour shift on the back! And your bronze is brilliant, really like to worn look on it. What colours have you used?
