I think I have one idea for a Trygon or Mawloc: A Cthonian

And you could do Shub-Niggurath as a hive Tyrant, and then the Warriors would be its young.

Anyway, they're looking great, and the Tervigon really came unexpectedly from around the corner and made me laugh! Astonishingly great idea.

Maybe I should reveal my planed monsters, but I think that spoils the fun. I've already started building a Mawloc / Cthonian. It's great to hear that you also think it's a fitting count-as.

Dark young as Warriors you say... hmmm... I've always seem them as big and nasty. I haven't started with it, but I was thinking about Shubbi as Old One Eye and the Young as Fexes. But maybe warriors are more suitable?

My introduction to Lovecraft was through the RPG Call of Cthulhu. So there was never any question what my Hive Tyrant would be. And I'm a big fan of the fat and cute Cthulhu. Not to keen on some models I've seen with six-pack.

So a High-priest for my cultist to obey!

Speedfreek has a bit of inside information to rest on. But he's right. I have smoothed the trygon headplate out a bit though, so when you mention it a Reaver would propably be a easer bit to use

Hmmm... it could have been a Tyrant headplate, not sure. Long time since I've ordered it.
