    5 vs 15, how to?

    Heya.
I play Enforcers and my friend play a normal gang, however, he has 15 gangers and i can only use 5, sometimes 6 (the dog).

He has played quite a lot games, and i've only played 3, so my gang sucks and his is quite good.

But I'm having trouble fighting him. He has so many fighters that he just pins all mine, and I end up getting all my fighters down/pinned and I can do nothing.

Is there anything I can do to fight him?

You need to have your enforcers stick together. Run them as a squad and make sure to use the ability to test to recover from pinning when within 2" of a friendly fighter. If you split your team up you're lost.
I'll have your *bleep* on a stick for that!

If his gang rating is high enough (I forget how high), you are allowed to use the full 10 man squad. It sounds like he's a long way ahead of you, so you might be able to do that here.

I know, but his rating is not high enough, almost twice me :/

I second the sticking together. Concentrate your 5 Enforcers on one or two of his gangers at a time, somewhere the rest can't get to you. Hopefully your table has enough scenary on to do this. If he groups his whole gang together then chances are he won't be able to keep them out of sight, so sit back with your heavy stubber/grenade launcher and then grenade him if he gets close enough.

If things start getting ropey, just bottle out. If his gang rating is nearly twice as high as yours, even a losing game will net you a lot of experience.

Easy, stop playing gang fight and use the scenario tables to your advantage (with a terrible rating you should be able to control the choices) and play the games that give you a chance.

Terrain and cover are very important to Necro, make sure the board has plenty. Then, as suggested, pick your fights.

    Good luck

Yea, I was thinking of start playing the scenarios too. We have plenty of terrain, I mean, it's hard to put more terrain on the board, you almost always have cover. But then again, even with cover, I'm still outnumberd 3:1.

But yea, scenarios here we come!

We normally just use the gang fight scenario as we just want to kill each other

This works well with regular gangs which have equal ratings and similar equipment. However when a gang pulls ahead by any real margin and/or if you are using an outlanders gang (enforcers/spyrers/scavvies etc) you need to use the scenarios otherwise you will just be ground down.

Take Enforcers and Spyrers, in both cases you will be hitting the table with about 5 guys, little to no long range firepower and in a stand up fight you will 9/10 times get the beating.

Indeed, the whole concept of the Spyrers is that the Spyrer player will generally always get to pick the scenario as they're ambush predators.

Plus there are just some really fun scenarios.

I feel like Gang Fight is better for one-off battles that strictly DON'T impact your gang in the campaign. More like a 'see what we're capable of' battle.

The scenarios/missions are important and help to balance out the issues you're seeing with your gang.

If you have the smaller gang, raid, or ambush are often useful. Specifically ambush as you can often get them taking bottle tests after just one turn of shooting, providing your own gang has some decent weapons and skills.

Playing to the scenario really is the way to go. In a straight firefight, you're going to get your tail handed to you pretty quickly.

It's probably best you start a new thread with an appropriate title, it's really against the forum etiquette to restart old threads and to take them off topic.
