Wow, they look really, really good. o_o

If you've got a spare test mini, I can't help but wonder what they'd look like after being hit up with a layer of green ink...

No problem deacis, its just I thought the red looks a little flat when compared with the normal rods in necrons but i dunno. Hmmm itd be a shame to paint them really.

I dunno its worth testing out on the necron warriors just to see how it looks but other wise keep it to eyes - it'll look funky

I do take comissions on anything for anyone in any scheme apart from bloody bretonnians. Competitive rates - will work for food!

Lookin pretty good. And, while I applaud you for doing something other than Boltgun necrons, it seems like you've gone a bit too far in the other direction. Seems like at least some of the parts should be metal, with most of the armor plating being in the green. Maybe it's just me, but I think it's just a bit too green right now. Also, the Red Rods are nice... If you're planning a monolith though, you'll need a different sized rod for that, and then you've got the problem of the portal and crystal.

The necron looks really good, the only thing is that you could perhaps have had more metal on the model as a contrast to all of that green. But still it looks great.

The red rod as said before look superb!

Again, whilst it's nice to see some 'crons that aren't all metal... I still think you've maybe gone too far the other way. I just threw together a rather quick Photoshoppery of one of your images. And, I promise this will be the last time I bring it up. I only did one guy, and left the others as you've painted them. Personally, I think it's an improvement... but that's only My Opinion. Obviously if you like your guys the way you have them, that's great, and I fully support you leaving them exactly as they are. Like I said, it's a definite improvement over the Boltgun horde.

I would be a fool if I would deny the fact that they do look better with your improvements.
The problem is that I only have so much time to paint and want to get playing with a painted up army soon, instead of putting black coated mini’s on the table.

Though, you convinced me… As soon as I have my first squad of warriors finished (6 of 12 done now) I’ll do another pass and paint up de metal parts

    To be continued
