I have to agree here. The first thing I did was to check what lores Gut magic is associated with on the spinner. It seems eminently reasonable to speculate based on that. I think you're of the minority opinion on this matter Voss. Anyways, it's all speculative either way, so there's no wrong or right to it.

Ah. I misunderstood his explanation then. I thought he meant Gut magic would be associated with Beasts and Light because the TK lore was associated with Death and Light (in SoM, which I am completely unfamiliar with). Thats why it seemed random and nonsensical to me.

Now that I understand that he's basing it on the position of Gut magic on the SoM spinner, his speculation is certainly less random. So, my apologies, Lord Inquisitor.

Chiming in - I've heard of new miniatures for the butcher (unless its renamed) and possibly the hunter (unless its a new 'feral' type unit. The butcher is apparantly 'disgusting' and 'cannabalistic' - and plastic! They can also take rulebook lores (no idea on how many). Apparantly, there is also a mechanism of upgrading characters (like big names) in the book still.

Amazing stuff! I'm really looking forward to pictures. Did you all notice the Butcher in the Storm of Magic book seems to have a warmer flesh tone? Perhaps this is where they are going with the new army?

Thanks for the info. though being honest, I'd ask your mate if he has been reading Warseer over the last few months, because it just sounds like the early stuff we heard months ago which seems to have been mostly debunked since then.

As of 1 minute ago it's still there... Not sure what he was talking about, you can still get the battalion.

I was looking at Germany and UK only, and expected other countries to be similar. GW UK and Germany both ceased to sell the battalion - US obviously not, which is strange.

I know the US started producing models in Memphis, TN. wonder if that has something to do with it.

My guess would simply be that no new battalions are being made and UK/Europe have already sold their pre-existing stock and US still has some left.

A store owner told me that GW rep advise not to stock anymore ogres for the time to come.

GW stores now stop to stock ogres, which means once they are out of srock they won't get new ones (you can still ordr er them) Same happened to necrons 2 months ago.

Probably the dreaded rebox. Fewer models for more money, 3 ogres for $29 ($41 for leadbelchers) or something similar to bring them in line with with the standard core/special pricing.

Not saying its definitely happening, but it wouldn't be a surprise.

More likely four per box, as the ogre models are cast two per sprue.

I think it's more the "less models for more money" option. It's GW people..... you better expect the worse.
